New gear and needles more difficult to use
I don't know what's going on. I ran out of needles and syringes at the same time I ran out of gear. I have new gear and it's Test E instead of Test C, and looks more yellow and possibly thicker than my Alpha Test Cy. Also have new Test Prop which is basically clear. I just came back from a work trip and I missed about 4 days of injection so I load 1cc of cyp and 1cc of prop. The test E loaded extremely slowly into the syringe and injected slowly also. I pushed in 20ml of air in the vial before loading the syringe. Took like 5 min to fill the syringe. The test prop loaded quicker but injected extremely slowly in the delt, like I had to use force to push the oil in. Then when I pull out the syringe, blood comes pouring out.
=Now I also re-ordered 25 G x 5/8" NIPRO needles and 1 mL NIPRO syringes for this round. So all elements in this equation are variables. The syringes look a little different than I remember the old ones looking like. After injecting the prop, I tried pulling the plunger back and it was very hard to pull back also, and the rubber piece inside broke off the plunger (that's how hard it was to pull back).
I don't know what's going on here. This is a mystery to me, what do you think happened? Up until now it was really easy to inject.

make sure your syringes are not old stock . I had cleaned up my stash one day and came across some old syringes. decided to use them up, but unfortunately they were crap. hard to draw with and super hard to inject with. something about the rubber inside had made it so that they were no longer smooth like a newer syringe is.
also are you drawing your gear up with an 18g syringe or something else ? I draw with an 18 and inject with a 25.. drawing with anything much smaller then 18 takes too long loading up 3cc of gear.

I always use the same size needle to draw with as to inject, but I’m not doing more than 1cc at a time.
You’re onto something about the old stock syringes. When I was pushing the oil in, the rubber looked like it was stretching and coming apart inside the syringe. Ordered from Westend Supplies. They have no customer service number so I’ll gave to email them smh.

Gearheaded- do you have issues with pieces of rubber stopper in your vial from using the 18g? I had to switch to 21g for that reason.

no , I puncture the stopper at an angle at various spots. IF you go straight down in the middle every time, yes the 18g is large enough to wear the stopper out a bit.
I also do a lot of preloading of slin pns. so one puncture in the bottle I may draw out 3cc of gear to fill slin pins for 3 separate injections. so I'm really only puncturing the main bottle 3-4 or so times at most.. where as if your just running 1cc per injection from that bottle, your puncturing that bottle at least 10 times and I can see how that can wear the stopper out

Btw Excell pins are not as sharp as bd ir nipro.
Couviden also are dull as shit.
I love Excell barrels with the little tit plunger idea.

Used BD needles all my life, they are the gold standard along with Terumo. Never had an issue.
I no longer check my inbox. If you PM me I will not reply.

Found a few old syringes and they are made by Global or something, don’t have them in front of me. They are much better quality than the Nipro. The nipro is flexible and the plunger sticks and moves unevenly in the barrel. Garbage product.

I would love to give details about 'bad syringes" but it's not time or place or setting
But I agree, comfort and confidence is Paramount when using tools to inject
But these issues are hangnails to what some "syringe users" go through.
Think blunt fill tip sharpened on match book. Lol

I can't imagine. The lowest guage I'll go is 25, and I think that's too thick. When I donated blood a couple of weeks ago, they used this crazy thick syringe where I could literally see inside of the needle. Gave me a bruise of a lifetime.
Speaking of what you're speaking of
The stuff I have now is making me super sleepy and I'm eating everything. I feel like a bloated gorilla right now. Got to cut back! I'm tired just typing this.

Yeah it's pretty much a vacuum cleaner attachment.
Do double red next time, it's a 17.
Lol
The nurse says "this needle isn't that bad, single unit donation needle is twice as big"
I'm like no it's not, that would have to be an 8 guage needle for that, damn near half inch diameter. It's only a guage size bigger.
Then "wow, not many people oniw that, are you a nurse?"
Nope, just play one online.
