    Quad injections and leg day

Im pinning Test E 2x weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. It so happens that I hit legs on Wednesdays and Saturdays so when injection time comes, my legs are usually sore. Is there any benefit to injecting when the muscle is sore vs when its not?

Im sure it has no local benefit to the muscle, but Im thinking that because theres more blood in the area due to the broken down tissue, my body will absorb the Test more efficiently?

Just rotate the injection site, if a muscle is sore already and you inject there a lot then your muscle may develop scar tissue. Although test e is not so hard on your muscles (assuming you tolerate the oil and solvent), give it a rest.
Also if you are going to do leg day, just pin it before the workout. Working out the same muscle group you use in the injection will help the tissue to dissipate the injected material.

I'd stay away from quad injections...too many nerves and blood vessels. Glutes, delts, bi's tri's, lats are all better options.

Lifting after injecting can have the benefit of increased mind muscle connection due to "feeling" the muscle prior to working it out, and site injecting into smaller muscles like biceps will stretch the fascia and cause noticeable size increases but that is for more advanced lifters and typically guys looking to compete cause getting into injecting that often and in those areas you really gotta have a good reason!

I dont have the coordination to hit the glutes. Quads seem more straight forward. I cant imagine ever hitting lats, bis or tris

I figured Mon/Thur would be more evenly apart for more stable blood levels??
It seems to be like the popular split for 2xW injections....

Must admit though, Im anxious to pin again. Next cycle I might go with Test P so I can go with EOD injections lol

I'm scared to try quads after everything I've heard about them, mainly because of the nerves. I plan on doing delts, lats, glutes, and maybe tris

After 25+ years I still cant do quads without issues. Too many nerves and blood vessels I always tend to knick.

I think I found the sweet spot on my quads where I miss all nerves and vessels. Im gonna have a dime-sized circle tattooed on my quad so I never miss it

Agreed on all (cept lats: too much of a risk of nerve damage. Same with traps - Arms are a little iffy too. But way better than quads).

All good options. I have friends who love hitting their quads (outside sweep ONLY) but for me it's more trouble than it's worth.

    Agreed
Yeah traps are super sketchy lol. Don't think I'll ever have a need to hit those.. I haven't heard of people getting nerve damage from hitting lats though..I guess technically we can hit a nerve anywhere, but certain areas are more likely to cause issues I suppose. Do you know anyone this has happened to?

What are some of the issues that can arise if say I hit a nerve in the quads?

Some things I've experienced personally are a lot of bleeding, actually had blood squirt out after removing the needle a couple times (this has happened ONE time in my glute when I went too far to the center where blood vessels tend to be more abundant). I also tend to have painful injections there and def hit more nerves and have more bleeding.... and for some reason, although I haven't had this happen personally, people seem to have a higher risk of infection when going in the quads (but I have no data for that just something I've heard)..

So the takeaway is save quad shots for when you've been doing this for a while and really know how and where to inject your drugs... Until then I'd pin in the safest, least problematic spots possible.

Gotcha, thanks for the input. I only have 1" long pins, you think those are long enough for glutes?

What's your body type..? Meso and ecto should be fine, endomorphs may need 1 1/2" pins cause they tend to be thicker with more bf...I use 1" pins for all my injections..As long as you're not a visibly overweight person then 1" should be gtg. You don't need to go THAT deep in the muscle, as long as the oil goes into the muscle you're fine and going an inch deep should pretty much always accomplish that!
