    Testosterone Cypionate and TRT

Hello, I am new to this forum but I wanted some advice from some senior members. I just recently got some insurance through a job so I got back on my testosterone medication. I did androgel from a month and read injection was way better. So I called and asked my urologist to call in a prescription of injectable. He was hesitant but called in Test Cyp (200mg/10mL) with a dosage of 1/2mL to 2mL every two weeks. Well, a 10mL bottle of Watson is only $10 and i decided to start a cycle. I started shooting 800mg/week and knew I was gonna run out before my prescription was up so I called in and told the woman who calls in medication that she called it in wrong, it should be 1mL to 3mL every week and she did it. So now I can legally and legit do 600mg/week. I've been doing this for about 3 weeks now but since I started the androgel and now the cyp, I have put on about 20lbs. I am lean too, 6'1.5" and 195lbs at 9% BF and I just turned 30. Been lifting on and off since I was 14 but steady since I was 25. I think some of it is water weight but I was reading the cyp takes a while to really kick in.

What would be a good length of time to run this cycle? Should I be taking an AI too? When I'm done should I just go back to 1mL/week? I have also read that someone should only run test their first cycle. Any feedback would be great.

    Thanks,

    Tony

I'd run it for 12 weeks. And yes, just go back to your normal dose after.

Dang, that's the best TRT cycle I've ever heard of. 600mg/wk? Awesome. TRT is normally 100mg/wk to 150mg/wk. If you're on TRT you don't have to PCT just drop your dosage to 100mg/wk to 150mg/wk and keep going. Test Cyp's a long ester so you can inject once per week. My buddy takes an injection every two weeks. It's better if you take a shot once a week. Your Test level won't swing as much. 1ml/wk is still 200mg/wk which is on the higher side of TRT. You could go 100mg/wk and still be fine. 200mg/wk week will help maintain more muscle mass. I would recommend you don't run anything else other than Test. You don't really need it.

HaHa, I know it's crazy. I went to the Dr. today for something else and my blood pressure was high. 160/100. I know that's because of the testosterone . Do you guys think I should be taking aromasin too? How long before the cyp really kicks in? I have heard different things, like 3 weeks, 5 weeks, etc. Anyone have any experience?

You should have an AI in hand to prevent gyno. This should have been prescribed. If not, you can get it through the site sponsor. I'd recommend donating blood as well.

Sorry for the newbie question, but why do you recommend donating blood?

Test can increase your red blood cell count, hemoglobin and hematocrit. Giving blood helps to control this as well as dump excess iron out of your blood.

Venturac, I mean no offense by this but you are totally not prepared for what your are doing. You do not have an AI or HCG unless I missed it, right? The more exogenous T you take the more E you will create. It's that simple. Just because you may not feel or see side effects does not mean you don't have any. I strongly recommend you drop back to your TRT dosage and self-educate here and elsewhere. Read all the stickies at the top of this forum and the TRT forum and study up. It will help you immensely. TRT is a long time effort and it takes a good amount of time to just get all your levels stable and to learn what is best for you.

Lastly, why are you on TRT in the first place at your age? Is this based on blood work or a pathology?

But why is is low? Are you primary or secondary? Pathology (tumor,) testical injury, etc. I'm very curious if your doctor is clueless and just treating symptoms and not the actual issue at hand. You really want to avoid this if at all possible. You're way to young. Just being told your low is not sufficient, if that's the case. Remember most doctors don't really know much about hormones.

Guys who are on testosterone repla***ent programs are encouraged to donate blood 3 to 4 times a year to combate a condition that causes you to have excessive levels of red blood and white blood cells.

Your doctor is going to put you on a short leash once he figures out what is going on. Personally I wouldn't screw with the situation I have with my doctor for anything. I have run UG testosterone and saved my Watson for cycles in the past. But I always made sure everything looks on the level in his eyes.
