Blood in syringe, just wondering if I done something wrong

So I mixed my eq, test and hcg today. The only difference was I used a 1&1/4 inch needle instead of 1” that I’ve been useing.

The first couple times I aspitrate it was hard to pull the plunger back to see the bubble. I read that if your in the vein it won’t be hard but you’ll easily pull back and see the blood, is this correct?
So I’ve been useing 1 hand to give a slight pull back but putting no real effort in.

It’s my 4th week pinning and the first time I’ve seen blood after I’m done.
    Is this normal?

To get blood in there like that you had to have been in a vein. However, if you injected it all into your vein we prob wouldn't be having this conversation as you'd likely be in the hospital, so you prob clipped a vein on the way out...and since the needle gauge is so large compared to a slin pin the blood pours into these syringes very quickly which explains how it got in there while you were not aspirating.

What I do and would recommend is when injecting push the needle all the way in and take your hand off of it for a second....you don't actually have to pull back much, just a tiny pull and IF you're in a vein it will pull back easily as it fills with blood, so if it's not pulling back then you know you're good. It's good to be aware of this but don't be paranoid as it's not easy to hit a vein directly.

It has happened to me once where I shot in the middle of my glute as opposed to the outside and TWICE in a row I pulled back slightly and the syringe flooded with blood and I was astonished at how much blood flowed in there and how quickly, and honestly I wanna say I didn't even aspirate but I don't wanna send the wrong message as one should aspirate...but my point is you'll know if you're in a vein it'll feel off and youll get dizzy and light headed..If you feel that STOP injecting!

It's happened to me and I felt dizzy and nauseous for a few mins then it went away.. I'm assuming just a little got in my vein though. I imagine if I pumped the whole syringe into my vein I would've had an embolism or something...Not cool.

Take aways 1. don't worry about the blood as long as you're not injecting the gear into your vein you'll be fine 2. Needle gauge is large enough to where blood will flow in with little to no aspiration (although you should still aspirate to be safe) 3. Learn your body so you know what spots are problem free for you and what spots you need to pay extra attention to.

It's amazingly fast when you're in a vein!

    Thanks for that.
I’ll do that in future. also I’ll stick to the 1” needles.

Can I just clarify that if I did inject into a vein I’d be dead now?

Yes, you wouldn't be dead, just thinking you were dying for 5 minutes.

Fit of coughing, perceived tightness in chest, wierd taste in mouth. But it passes

You're good. Hit my glute the other day, no cough no nothing, pulled out and blood hit the bathroom wall... It happens.

I never pull back. If I hit a vain I feel it right after i start injecting(maybee 0.3-0.5ml), it goes very easy in if you are in a vain, its no resistance at all. Also i get a bad taste in my mouth if Im so unlucky to be in a vain(but it almost never happens).

What you have posted picture of is not unusual at all, you have clipped a vain as people say above, it happens every now and then. After i finish inject i leave the needle there for a 30sec, then i take it out, and sometimes blood like this or even more come in before or when I take it out.

You injected on top of scar tissue which creates pressure build up and when you pull the pin out BOOM your br looks like a crime scene lol

Nah i think i just nicked a vein on the way out, done it a few times working in clinics. I was doin it lefty with a small gauge. Lot of movement from pushing the pluger hard. This is only my second cycle, so i don't QUITE have enough scar tissue built up... Yet.

Could of just nicked a blood vessel, it happens sometimes. I wouldn't be concerned... these things happen.

Sounds like you nicked a vein but that’s all.

    Thanks guys, reassured for sure!

Also thinking maybe I pined a little low. I’ve just randomly been stabbing the right side not really making sure it’s the top half..
