    Test only cycle

Would like to run a 500mg/wk test cyp cycle. Lifting 5 years. Current stats are 6’2 185 roughly 18%bf. 42” chest, 15” arms 22”quads and 13.5” calves. Lifts are B: 265, S: 300, Dl: 415. I have been maintaining at 3250 daily. I track all of my calories wirh a food scale and MFP. I need to get rid of this skinny ass bit#% look. My routine is split with chest tris, back bi’s, shoulders, legs. Staple lifts are bench (bb and db), deads, bb rows, standing OHP. Accessory work is limited to 2 exercises 3 sets. I feel my genetic potential is much higher as in I need another 30lbs of lean mass but I have been trying for a few years and when I eat over maintenance the first and only thing thag happens is I put 4 inches on my waist which looks bad because my shoulders are only 19” wide. This all looks terrible at 6’2. I uave attached a pic from last nights shoulder session. Appreciate any help given.

First of all - good job on the physique you’ve already built and maintained. You do not look like a skinny ass bitch. You look great actually. Sometimes we cannot see ourselves for what we truly are when we are standing at the mirror. I would love to be where you are in body fat percentage.

It’s hard to tell from just that pic, but IMO the only thing that looks to be lagging behind are your shoulders. Get those bad boys to grow and it will compliment the chest you’ve already built. Not sure what your training regime looks like, but you could probably tweak it to hit shoulders twice a week or three times a week (especially if running 500mg of Test weekly).

Will this be your first cycle?

To be that heavy and that lean you're a lot lower than 18%

That’s a good call! I didn’t even catch that...if you look...great striations in chest and obliques ...gotta be nearing single digits I would think...if not singles. I’m not a good judge really.

Also! If I were you, I’d be blotting/pixelating my face out. Unless you’re comfortable being all over the Internet. Safety first my friends =)

What are you using to determine your bodyfat? That picture looks like 10-12% bodyfat.

You might be selling yourself short on your progress because most people are not able to visualize (through no fault of their own) different stat points or physiques. 30lbs of lean mass wouldnt even come from a single cycle, with all the steroids in the world, let alone trying to do it naturally over just 1 year or two.

I would guess the diet has room for improvement - beyond just calories/macros.

I totally agree awesome work with your current physique.

If you have not cycled at all before 20 lb gain imo is not at all out of the question for a first cycle, provided you continue good eating habits. I put on 10 lbs when I began trt in the first 8 weeks. How much of those gains you can hold onto long term however is the real question.

looking at your pic, stats, and 5 years of lifting experience.. and wanting to put on 30 more pounds of lean tissue . I'd be looking at a bit more then a "test only" cycle . think you could get more benefits with fewer negatives by using anabolics rather then just test

    My son is 6'2" 180lbs. I know what 6"2 180lbs looks like. You're not 6'2" 185lbs. That's not you in the picture.

Guy in the pics way over 185?

That's kinda what I was thinking, I was assuming very low Bf%.

500mgs is a solid starting point for test. See how you react. Make sure you have a AI on hand. Also hcg 250*2 or 500*1. Also have a pct in place.
