Need help PLEASE TRT and adding cycle questions

Hello all I could really use some help/advice/opinions. I’ll apologize now for the long post but wanted to be detailed.

I as of today started TRT. I’m almost 37 5’10” and typically 170-180(always been skinny) my levels were 210. My dr wanted to start low so we are at .5cc of Test enanthate 200 once a month. He said 2 weeks into my 3rd month I would get
Levels checked and would either continue it or
Modify the dose. One thing I liked that he said was we are aiming for a change in you, your mood, size, and sex drive. not a specific number or range. Which leads me to believe he will be lenient with upping the dose as it seemed he made the entire process very easy when a previous dr flat out refused me years ago at 250.

Here’s where my questions and help comes in. 2/18/18 I had an umbilical hernia surgery and am still recovering so needless to say no gym and poor diet I’ve lost a lot of weight down to about 160-165 Range and it’s truest messing with me as we also had a family cruise planned 7/1. My thought was to supplement in an additional .5-1cc in between shots and add in some oral winny (50mg tabs) or some anavar (50mg tabs) I’ve had some amazing results from both.

I’m wondering if either of the orals would show up or set off a red flag in my 3 month blood test. Or possibly help my test with some suppression. And also the thoughts on supplementing in some test my plan was to add it for 2 months or so stop so my levels dropped then start again after the blood work. He told me after my 3 months it would only be once a year unless something caused a change. My ultimate goal is to get back in shape for my cruise then really focus on the size and strength after.

I have done numerous cycles before so I consider myself pretty knowledgeable but with TRT and blood work this is a whole new game and I also don’t wanna chance any issues with my dr as I am still a new patient Thanks in advance for any info!!!! My ultimate goal is to maintain 175-185 and 11-13%bf range I don’t need or wanna be ripped I would much rather prefer size and strength with some visible definition

You would wait until after the blood work to adjust dose or add another compound on. Regardless, you want TRT to be dialed in and blood work to be good before adjustments. There should be more than just a single bloodwork panel in the first year as well. I would not be adding on compounds or increase test until dialed in which is gonna take you somewhere around 4-6+ Months

The TRT protocol your doctor has you on is very bad using that little Test E once a month. It will actually create more problems than it solves. The doctor does not understand hormones or HRT standard of care. Test E should be injected twice per week at a minimum, not once per month. I also don't see any TRT-related supplements or HCG .

I would read the sticky threads in the TRT section - you do not want to follow what your doctor is suggesting, you will feel worse .

Wait until you get your TRT sorted, the last thing you want is to mess up bloodwork that you are trying to find a balance to. Plus your doc will most likely get pissed off, like you said, your last doc never entertained you at all so don't get on the wrong side of this doc.

It seemed quite low to me as well. He asked me if I wanted every two weeks or once a month to start. I said once a month assuming it was at least 1cc I also didn’t wanna start questioning dosages right off and I’m not familiar with TRT process and also haven’t fully disclosed my past usage and cycles with him so I didn’t want to get in a situation where he questioned my results or validity

Speaking from experience, the once/month injection will have feeling decent for about 8-10 days max. The rest of the month is craptacular.
Every 2 weeks isn't ideal either, although I've been through that as well.
Smaller, more frequent injections will yield more stable serum levels with less E2 conversion. I inject every 3.5 days, some guys prefer E3D.

Definitely get your TRT dialed in before subsidizing it.
