    Nose.bleed Oxandrolone

    Hi!

I'm runing a very low dose of Oxandrolone, 30mg daily, for about one week now.
Feeling great, strenght is improving quickly.

The problem is that my nose os bleeding two ir three times a day. It started 3 days ago.
    My blood pressure is fine.

Should I be concerned? Should I stop taking it?
What's the cause for my nose bleeds?
(Starting to freak out a bit!!!)

    Thank you all!
(Sorry if my English isn't that good. I'm not English native)

My bet would be an allergy, not the var. You can always stop the var for a week and see what happens.

    Thanks, Kelkel.

But, if it proves that is Oxandrolone the cause of the bleeding, should I stop taking it?

Does this "bleeding problem" occur with other steroids ? If so, what should users do? Lower the dosage? Stop taking it?

    What else are you running?

I run var alot, I use it year round with trt.

Try for me is 175mg test, 42mg mast, 42mg primo and 35mg var per week.

On cycle I run var 50-60mg daily for 6 weeks. Or until I can't take the heartburn anymore.

Agree with Kel, doubtful it’s the var. I can’t even think of a mechanism of action from var that would cause it other than if you’re snorting them. :P

Might need to see someone to get it cauterized if it keeps up. Just google and read up on COMMON causes of nosebleed (not the esoteric cancer or the septal mucosa crap). Likely you have a past history that is contributing, you have a vessel close to the surface that is bleeding and as Kel mentioned allergy may be causing it to be irritated, etc., and could have been exacerbated (made worse) with an underlying condition and high blood pressure, but you sound good in that department.

Try keeping it moist at night with a little dab of Vaseline or other ointment, one that isn’t medicated. Once you get a bleed you get a big clot that then get blown/picked or falls off and it bleeds all over again.

    Good luck with that.

I'm running a trt like dosage of test. 100mg weekly.

Agree with the above about it not being the var. Sounds like allergies, thin nasal tissue, a very dry environment or a combination.
Happens to me every year during the low humidity months.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

It's probably really it! I didn't bleed today, and I'm using oxandrolone the same way as the other days...

I Wonder, are there any steroids that can make "a nose bleed"?

I believe.... Tbol lowers platelet count and makes one more likely to bleed. (or should I say your cuts take longer to stop bleeding)

I nose bleed a lot, its usually dry air. A humidifier in room fixes it. Some aquafor in nostrils keep em moisturized.

Or allergies if u sneeze non stop

SMH not everything is related to AAS

i get nose bleeds on the regular

however, they have calmed down since i stopped the var.

any time i'm in a humid or dry room, my nose will pour. when on var, everyday like clock work. usually it's signs of high BP but, i didn't have high bp.. i see a nose specialist at the end of this month. trying to get it cauterized.

Well... Not good!! Do you lower the dose? Or do you stop taking it?

    Any thoughts about this?

It can be a sign of BP issues but can be a variety of other things like sinus issues as well.

For me and German89 BP is ruled out.
How could sinus make a nose bleed? Is it possible?

Probably somewhere in between, I'm guessing. But if it is more like the first example, then that might just be something I lived with. Maybe do a nasal rinse to see if it helps.
I'm entering the second day without bleeding.
When I I bleed, it was something in between. And healed very quickly.

I was no longer concerned about ir, until German89 said that her bleeding was worse when she was taking Oxandrolone.

But everything I read about nose bleeding and Oxandrolone gives reason to the majority of opinions. This guys are pretty well informed

I've ran heavy cycles where my blood pressure got up to 220/100 and didn't have nose bleeds .. theres been times I've ran VAR with only a low TRT and nothing more, yet got nose bleeds in my sleep. no other time but when running VAR. this is something unique with VAR. I don't think its coincidental . I've heard it before and experienced it myself. rare, yes.

edit .. there is a known medical interaction between Anavar and vitamin k antagonist meds (causes nose bleeding). perhaps without being on those drugs, but taking Var with a vitamin k deficiency may cause a similar interaction

How’d you come up with that weird mix for TRT couch? Do you mix them all in one vial or what?

    Yes.

    I mix 2ml of test e500, 1.25ml primo e200 and 1.25ml of mast e200.

.225ml gives me 50mg test, 12.5mg mast and 12.5mg primo per shot EOD

When I have extra var, I eat 5mg a day

I have some wierd shbg issues and I feel the small amounts of DHT derived steroids help free some of my bound up test

Try halotestin for nice headaches and a bloody nose. And I second the people here, var is mild and even prescribed to children. Its not that heavy on your BP. Get your nose checked by a ENT specialist.
Also are you sure your var is legit?

interesting!! Did you stop using ir or adjusted the dose?

I have to check my vitamins to search for vitamin K.
    Don't take other meds.

Yes, pretty sure. It's from Balkan Pharma, very well known in Europe. It has pharma grade of everything

Then most probably like kel pointed out, its an allergy. Histamines are known to increase vessel transparency and fluid retention in the tissue, hence higher local pressure. Are you experiencing any running or blocked nose issues? Sneezing? Itchiness?
