Test is too high...
Just had my VA doc check my test levels and they came back at 459ng/dl. Prior to using anything when i was clean and last checked i was naturally 148. Although at that time i was drinking enough alcohol to kill some, NO sleep, and super high stress and depression. Haven't had a beer or drink in nearly 2 years. And sleeping much better with the help of Ambien nightly 10mg. I had taken a 300mg cyp shot 3 weeks prior to the dr drawing labs and figured that would've been long gone. It's now been 6 weeks and I'm going back this Thursday for a
re-draw of my levels. I want it back down to obtain TRT from the VA. They'll provide cypianate for free to treat. But i doubt he'd treat me if I'm 450. For me that's still low. I function great at 980-1200. I know this through my own trial and error. He seemed very interested in mt health and started that he'd treat me with cyp if needed. Gonna try to talk him into prop to prevent the valley and peaks in my blood.

I've been listening to Dave Crossland a lot lately and hearing him say repeatedly that peaks and valleys in your test levels is not only healthy, but better for you than stable levels?? In fact, he only injects his TRT every 14 days. he seems to be implying (I'm not smart enough to really know) that your body needs peaks and valleys to properly take advantage of the exogenous test, and that stable levels will eventually lead to you just processing it faster, and higher estrogen levels.
Any thoughts?

If someone wants peaks and valleys they should just stick to gels. They're probably the closest to mimic the diurnal nature of endogenous testosterone . I cannot imagine how going from a peak level to an extremely low level if healthy for you. A 14 day protocol is based on the terminal life of testosterone, not it's half life. It goes against all the top doctors in the industry. No where in science that I'm aware of can he support his theory of needing peaks and valleys to properly take advantage of exo test. Same for his faster processing comment. If it were the case we'd be seeing it in the blood work of veteran TRT'ers.

Let me know how this turns out. During my annual VA physical 8 years ago I asked them to check my test. It came back at 311 (300-1100 range), they would not give me HRT. I had to go to my civilian doc for it. But, if I can get my test cyp via the VA that would save me money!
