How often do you bleed from injections?

Just curious. I only pin 3 spots and this is how often I bleed in these spots:

    Delts: 3/4
    Glutes: 1/3
    Quads: 1/8

Just typed this up after pinning my left delt and getting a gush of blood after pulling out the needle. It’s my favorite spot to pin because of less pain and convenience, but it’s a leaker.

I pin 1/2" needle everywhere. I bleed often but it's less than a Pea size blood drop. Once in a blue moon I'll get quarter size, maybe 1x a month.

Z-track the injection and switch to 1.5" needle. Should reduce bleeding to almost zero.

I used to bleed a little every time. Started leaving the needle in for a few more second after injecting and now hardly anything.

I can't do 1.5". 1" is too long imo. 5/8 is what I use, except for glutes. Glad to see I'm not the only one with leaky delts.

You can still Z track. And use only BD or Terumo. Any other needle brand is ugly in my opinion/experience.

I use 23g 1" pretty much for all. Delts, glutes are really easy but PIP sucks sometimes. Z track method helps sometimes but not on delts.

I stick with upper quads on the top and rarely bleed maybe 1/10. 25G 1” pin usually 2-3ml shots.

I sometimes see a spot of blood after I pull the pin out otherwise no blood at all. The other day I pinned my shoulder though and must've kicked a vein because it leaked down my arm for a bit. I use 25g 1" for glutes and quads and 5/8" for shoulders.

You could try also to pin somewhere new like chest or calves.

+1 for the 25 gauge, 1 inch. Hardly ever bleed more than a drop, and I pen chest, dealt, hams, glute, traps... Rarely ever bleed. The downside is that each injection through that tiny ass gauge takes for freaking ever!

Btw, I draw with an 18ga which does wear on the stoppers quite a bit.

Same to the 18g, by the end of the vial if I've been haphazardly poking around to get the last drops I notice leakage but otherwise its been good.

Only time there’s risk damaging the stopper for me is if Im only Drawing .5cc so 20 pokes through. Usually I’m taking 2cc so it’s fine.

Pinned test in quad, 1” 22 gauge needle zero blood.

Pinned 250ius of hcg in shoulder, 5/8” 25 gauge, pretty sure I shot it straight into a vein. Blood ran right out as soon as I pulled the needle out, and it was only on the very tip of the needle.
