most guys think you go into the gym, workout hard, break down muscle, and it repairs itself in a few days.. Not true. it takes weeks and even months to build new tissue. its a very burdensome and energy demanding process for the body.
the gains that come fairly soon when on cycle are simply water retention, blood volume increase, glycogen super compensation etc.. NOT new proteins and new tissue. now all of what I just mentioned does help the growing process, but don't confuse those gains with "real" gains in tissue, they are only a starting point.
if your making gains late into a cycle, that generally means your starting to put on new tissue and that new tissue is beginning to fill out. these late gains are the real keepable gains your after . so keep after it. don't stop you cycle short cause of some BS you read online about how long a cycle should be ran or not
