Advice on the absolute safest possible cycle and precautionary measures

Hi all

I am almost 29 have been lifting since I was 16. I did a cycle of test e (followed the sticky thread -500mg a week for 12 weeks. Hcg and arimidex on cycle and then proper pct). Gained 30 lbs, recovered fast and kept most of it for a good year after (stopped being as consistent then as life got in the way).

Fast forward 6 years. I now have atrial fibrillation, which is a heart rhythm disorder. My heart is structurally normal but I have to take medication to keep the beating regular. I eat healthy, train weights, do cardio and about 14% BF. I got the Afib due to bad luck rather than anything, very healthy never smoked, don’t drink, have low blood pressure everything else completely healthy.

I know in general that steroids are bad for the heart. A test on people who had used steroids for two years showed that their hearts had lessened pumping ability than normal. I’ve also heard that if you take just testosterone and take the necessary precautions to keep your bloods all in order then you are no worse off at all.

With that in mind, what would be some tips for an even safer cycle?

Could I do lower test like 350mg and proviron to get some more free testosterone? Keep doing cardio on cycle, huge amounts of fish oil, bloods every 3 weeks to be super safe and then can modify by ai accordingly and make sure my CBC is ok. Or is 500mg already super safe?

Any other details appreciated as I’ve been out of this game for a long time and don’t remember as much. Does anyone have an example of their blood work before during and after cycle so I can see how it changes? Obviously I know everyone reacts differently and you need to get your own baseline. But would be interested in seeing this. Are there any other indicators of health aside from blood work to look into?

People would suggest test only cycles in the past but the new trend seems to be using test as base combined with an anabolic.
My only suggestion would be stay away from stimulants. I don’t think you will have any heart problems from AAS alone in the short term.

Don't overthink - keep it simple.

Pick One:

- Test Only
- Test + Var
- Test + Mast
- Test + Primo

It doesn't matter which one you pick.

Bloodwork Before cycle and 6-8 weeks after PCT.

AI only if needed. HCG on cycle.

Done.

I would do just test. I think the biggest thing for you, as you seem to gain easily on cycle, is to not put on too much weight at once. 5-10 lbs might be ok, but more might mess with your heart.

Cholesterol will be impacted, and on top of that, your blood will likely thicken from the increase in red blood cells. This will also affect the heart.

If I were you I would do just a small cycle of test only and don’t go crazy in the gym. Nobody cares how big you are, only you care. Play it safe.

Testosterone can elevate blood pressure at higher doses. Get a blood pressure monitor and use it daily. Keep a log.

If I were you I’d keep test below 400-500 a week. You can add primo at 600-800 a week without many sides at all. Anavar for a mild oral.

At least you already know you have the heart condition and you can continue to check it.

Be safe above all else.

Test + anavar or test + primo would be my choice. I would call mast an androgen rather than an anabolic.
Of course anavar will affect your cholesterol levels, but that’s only for short term. You won’t die for having low HDL for 2 months. Primo is rather safer in that manner.
Blood thickening is not that big issue at all, considering HCT, 50 is normal for an AAS user, 55 and over means you need to donate. 60+ is a medical emergency.
Hydrate religiously and replace your electrolytes regularly. Cardiac diseases can be the side effects of AAS abuse, in the long term not short term.
Stay on top of your bloodwork and be cautious not paranoid.

So 300ng test and 500mg primo (injectible) a week? If primo lowers estrogen do I take less arimidex on cycle than the standard for the 500mg test cycle

You DO NOT take an AI until needed.

Primobolan is the most faked anabolic - research your lab choices thoroughly so you don't get ripped off.

Steroids alone are not dangerous for the heart, if BP is controlled.

Safest way:

Keep diet clean. Limit saturated fats big time. Get a good deal of dietary fats. Make your entire fat intake mono and poly unsaturated fat.

Keep carbs complex except for post workout.

Do cardio, don't smoke, don't drink.

Take your NAC and TUDCA. Also add red yeast rice Chinese sourced.

5mg Cialis daily.

Add any amount of reasonable aas to the mix for no longer than 16 to 20 weeks (20 being less than ideal) but this will also be based on esters and actual steroids used.

Start at acceptable body fat.

Be smart and train hard.

Of course it can be done other ways. But this will be the "cleanest" way to do so.

My first cycle I was a Nazi with things and bloodwork came back better post cycle than pre cycle.

Now I ain't as strict and I pay for it somewhat. Nothing major. Just not perfect health

How is your blood work on cycle? Is there any way to keep that all within normal limits or is that not possible.

To minimise stress on the heart I could try use this as a cutting cycle so I don’t gain weight. Realistically what could I expect - my second ever cycle having not done one in 6 years and starting 85kg about 15% body fat. Would I even drop much fat on test cyp only or maybe some primo too. Or best to just bulk?

The point of using steroids is to elevate things like Estrogen, and anabolics and blood cells to create rapid growth.

To keep everything in range while on, would completely mitigate any muscle building effects of the drugs

Sorry my question was poorly worded. I would like to keep blood pressure within normal ranges, ensure my hdl and ldl ran at acceptable levels. Anything else there that may affect the heart I would want to monitor?

Blood pressure you can fix just by donating blood though right

That's what I outlined above
