High Red Distribution Width % (RDW)

    What's up guys

I just did full CBC blood test and my RDW was slightly high at 15! Everything else was fine. I have attached a screenshot of all my results.

I read that it might be because of a Iron deficiency, but I'm getting a lot of iron everyday from my diet.

I'm currently on 500mg of Test E per week and have been on for about 20 weeks now. My plan was to run 500mg year round

I'm also taking 30mg of MK-677 per day. 8 weeks now

Plus 60mg Turinabol per day. Only been on for 1 week.

Could the high RDW % maybe be from elevated liver enzymes when I'm taking Tbol? Havent got them checked yet but my plan was to check my liver numbers when I was 3 weeks into the Tbol cycle

What do you guys think? I would really appreciate some help and advice

    Thank you

I had the same exact issue - eccept mine is quite more elevated

It was caused by me donating too often & me going border line anemic

this is why I recommend guys generally only donate once per year at the most. theres no point in donating just cause your hematocrit/hemoglobin is a bit elevated, thats supposed to happen when on AAS. its only when BOTH hematocrit is elevated along with blood platelet count that there is a real concern and blood donation may be needed. a lot of guys are donating every 6 weeks when they don't even have elevated blood platelet count at all and end up doing themselves a dis service

It's one point above scale. Don't worry about it.

Yes, I donated blood 1 time about 4 months ago. Could that the reason?

Thought so. Seems weird that I should have problems from a blood donation I did 4 months ago. Wonder what the problem might be then

the "problem" is that you are taking steroids and steroids affect bloodwork.
as mentioned above, it is barely elevated and not much to worry about.

but if you seriously think you can take 500mg of test year round and have it not affect bloodwork then you are wrong

    ^ truth

The Nurse Practioner reviewing my BW said that it’s nothing to be “directly worried about” after grilling me on what I was on & how long

Hehe.. Good point I talked with my doctor today and he also told me that it was no problem as long as my Hemoglobin were not elevated
