    Bulk/Cut - Cycles, AAS, dosage

How soon after bulking do you enter cutting phase? Do you wait for a while till new gains "settle" a little bit or you go straight into cut?

Also how do you approach cutting phase AAS wise? I know some guys prefer heavier bulking cycles and relatively mild stacks while cutting just to maintain. I think gear is even more important when cutting - you are losing weight and when you are above your natural limit your body is more than happy to get rid of that extra muscle. If I had to choose to either bulk enhanced or cut enhanced, I would say cut enhanced makes much more sense.

What is your opinion/experience on this topic?

cutting is definitely a time you need to pay careful attention to your gear usage . during a bulk you can get by with less gear cause the food is high and food is the most anabolic thing in the first place . for decades in bodybuilding guys have generally focused most of their advanced gear usage to contest prep when dieting down.

    this is what I recommend.

stay in a surplus of cals post bulk for 4 weeks.
take a 1 week deload in your training.
go to calorie maintenance for 4 weeks.
    then start your cut.

running a low cruise dose during this time is the most ideal

then set up your cut cycle . which may look a bit more advanced then your bulk and have additional factors like T3, Clen, etc

That makes sense. Can't understand rationale behind juicing to bulk up and then cutting without any support. I am blasting and cruising so between blasts I cruise on my TRT dose of 100-125mg TST C/E. I was playing with idea if upping the dose to 250mg or adding something like Var or Primo to the cruises. But that can't yet be justified by my experiences or size therefore I am playing it safe and will see.

Waiting a little and deloading before cut is what I usually do. Who knows, maybe jumping straight into a cut wouldn't hurt but taking a break and letting body to recover properly won't either.

Depends on ur metabolism as well, for me i dont cut that fast, but i dont lose muscle so easy as well
I did a 6 month cut, and lost a few reps only last 2 3 weeks of a cut, did it only on a trt dose, after my bulk blast im gonna do a mild cutting cycle, like 250 mg test e, some clen and maybe a 3rd compound, dont feel like i need more to keep it

I'm the opposite, I can cut on pretty low dose of gear (as long as tren is there). However, i can't bulk worth a shit unless on 10+ compounds. Cutting is EZPZ for me, I miss one meal I lose 30% BF - lmao. Strange how our bodies work.

I know as soon as I am done wanting to grow excessively though my cycles will flip flop.

I lose a ton of muscle if cutting and not on a ton of gear.. I miss a meal and I'll lose 30% muscle and not any body fat. the first thing my body wants to get rid of is muscle, not body fat.

actually think I've gotten leaner and looked pretty good when bulking, not cutting. when I'm trying to add more muscle and that muscle starts to come on, my body fat percentage goes down. even though I'm eating a ton, I'm doing 2 a day sessions and hitting it pretty hard.. I'm growing and adding size and strength and getting leaner at the same time (yes I'm on a ton of drugs).. but then when I purposely try to cut I don't seem to lose any body fat and only muscle .

well shit. I need to bulk to cut . wtf

a lot of people will say things like "abs are made in the kitchen'' or calorie deficit is all you need to do to get lean. I don't think its that simple. its not just calories in vs calories out.

for some people they will be in a calorie deficit for months and lose maybe 8 pounds and thats it. then they are stuck even though they are still in a deficit. take that same person and INCREASE their calories , yet make them do an hour of cardio per day and 2 per day weight training sessions and all the sudden they drop body fat like crazy . I think energy expenditure (ie, cardio/training) is far more lipolytic in nature then simply being in a calorie deficit

This is an interesting statement. It just makes perfect sense that "abs are made in kitchen" and that's what I have believed for years. But recently I started reconsidering this because looking back at my cutting phases, in single digits BF% it gets painfully slow no matter how low I go with the calories. And I could suffer a lot - <100g carbs, ~200g protein <50g fat. All this being 5'10 200lbs which is easily sub-basal energy intake for me. I did cardio few days a week 30min top, steady pace. I switched to morning cardio 45min and shit started moving again.

I would do anything to avoid cardio excessively - it's painfully boring but I started realizing avoidance is not the most effective for me in terms of fat loss. Eating like a child, feeling like shit and looking like one while my body's giving me a middle finger holding to bodyfat is not fun.

Well best course of action which i never did but i was thinking of recently would be stay in maintenance, and make a deficit only with cardio. It would yiels prpbably the best results, and then maybe if u get stuck, reduce cals a little
I dont have that much time tbh to spend another 45 mins to an hour in gym on a threadmill, i like low intensity like fast paced walking
Good thing is my job recently moved 45 mins away from me, walk wise, so i might just walk to and from work lol 5 times a week
