Has anyone here ever gotten Testosterone cypionate infused with an AI (anastrozole)? This is from a TRT clinic and according to the doctor they do that to eliminate having to take an oral every day. Doc said if additional AI's are needed on top of the Test C/AI then he/she will provide it via tablet.
That sounds like a recipe for fucking disaster. You may not need the AI, and since your whole test source is now contaminated with it, you’re not gonna be able to remove it to troubleshoot.
I’d seriously recommend seeing if you can get some TestE or C with no bullshit added, in case the AI crashes your E2 and/or tanks your lipids.
It may be because my bloodwork. The labs showed that my Estradiol level is at 90.7, normal range should be between 7.6 - 42.6 and Testosterone level is also on the high end at 1500. So it may just be a temporary thing so I hope.Quote:

One correction; Anastrozole is not an estrogen blocker! It is an inhibitor. In other words, it lowers serum estrogen levels in the body - inhibiting the aromatase enzyme!
If it were you would just run Nolvadex 10 mg day
Nolvadex unlike anastrozole will block estrogen receptors instead of inhibiting it

For some guys, being in the 40s causes the symptoms mentioned in my post and the one previous. For others, they can run up into the 200+ range and never have problems. This is why treating based solely on labs is a terrible idea. The hormone ranges are completely useless once you go population wide. They’re an average. And I’m not sure about you, but I’ve never met this “average person”. The bell curve for the ranges are absurdly small and keep trending downward for some weird ass reason.
A few years back, 1200 total would have been the high end of normal. Now it’s suddenly too high because lab values have been shifted down, likely to be more “average” in a world full of hypogonadal men.
Sounds like my first trt clinic lol. I bet I can name the compounding pharmacy you receive from too. I’ll even go one further and bet your test C RX is prescribed at 200mg test C and 1mg anastrozol per ml. I left that clinic for the exact reason that they would not prescribe straight test C and deal with an ai separately, which a much better and likely optimized trt approach. There are way too many good clinic choices out there to have to be tied to this sort of protocol.Quote:

I haven't started the TRT yet. I have been self administering TEST for 8 weeks now and between weeks 4 and 5 is when I started to notice my nipples were getting a bit tender and sensitive. I took 50mg of clomid everyday or 5 days and everything went back to normal and has been sense. Never had gyno however, running 400mg of Test C per week not only caused my tender nipples (especially at the gym) but it also had some negative effects on my sex drive/libido.
To be clear 400mg is outside of what is medically considered trt. If you ran labs as you mentioned and total t was around 1500 and your estrogen was high that is all to be expected for running that amount of test. Your follow up posts to this thread have made your question/point unintelligible? If you have another question state it clearly. The answer to your original question though is No that is far from an ideal trt protocol.Quote:

I started a cycle at 400mg and near end is when I started looking in to TRT, that's why my levels were high. I was just asking about the Test infusion because I have never heard of it before. As for the follow up posts, I was answering questions that were asked.Quote:
