this is true , but consider the other side of the equation. higher carb intake will result in more insulin release, which will then increase IGF levels (which is how HGH is anabolic in the first place) and suppress cortisol levels (cortisol is catabolic) . plus all the other anabolic benefits that come from carbs that HGH itself can't provide.
so , intermittent fasting or minimizing carbs may allow your natty growth hormone release to increase from say 1iu per day to 1.2 iu per day .. but taking in carbs instead is going to illicit much more anabolic gains then that (again, increase in insulin, which is the most anabolic hormone in the body, increase in IGF, and increase in nutrient delivery into muscle cells).
theres zero evidence that a small increase in natty growth hormone pulse is anabolic or promotes muscle building.. but theres tons of evidence to suggest carbohydrates and insulin are very anabolic and promote lots of muscle building and performance capability (ain't no one ever became a 300 pound bodybuilder without lots of carbs and insulin)
