    Keeping my gains

    I’m 40 5,9 208bls maybe 17-18 percent body fat not sure, but I’m just starting to see my abs.
    I have ran a cycle for 20 weeks , I didn’t want to get off because of my gains I was seeing but now my blood is getting pretty thick so I have no choice
    Yes I know I’m stupid u don’t have to remind me but if I could ever get some guidance with this shit
    Things would be different but that cost lots of money. Anyway this is something I have always wanted and I have came to realization that it could kill me and I’m ok with that now. What I’m not ok with is never making my dream a reality. I love me
    and I love bodybuilding. So please help me understand what I need to do to keep my gains, do I need to quit everything and stay on low doses of test or what, when do I need to start my pct before I get off or after I get off cycle. I ask this because some people say u need to start pct 2weeks before u stop, some people say u need to start 2weeks after u get off, it’s confusing. That’s why I haven’t been on here in a while. And yes I do research but research and people that have been doing this for years are to different things
    I want to now what works for people, and see if it helps me

    It’s been said before, but you may keep your gains only so far as your genetic makeup allows you. You are 40, and you ran quite a long cycle - chances are that it will take quite some time for your natural testosterone to bounce back. Let’s say it takes 4 months to get your levels back in range. Depending on how much muscle you gained, you may keep some of that or none of that.

    If it took 1000 mg of test to get to where you are now (that would be, lets say, 4000 ng/dL total testosterone), it will take just as much, or near it to keep it all. Now when you’re in PCT, your levels will be <100 for quite some time, and may settle between 600-800 if you’re lucky. There is a high chance it will be even lower than that since you are 40.

    And once again, it’s been said here a million times, but the gains you get to keep when going back to natty are the gains you would have made without gear (meaning you weren’t anywhere near your genetic potential). I can tell you I don’t gain much from cycles unless I go over 1000 mg, and I hover around the same weight when off.... because I basically reached my genetic potential naturally.

    For starters take a deep breath and relax - your all over the place.

    18% body fat is like 3 months pregnant, not visible abs.

    For starters, diet sleep and training are the biggest factors not the drugs.

    Post what you eat in a day.

    The fact that you don't have a PCT plan or exit plan after 20 weeks is a red flag to be honest.

    Did you get Bloodwork done to determine you have thick blood or are you just guessing?

    Did you get bloodwork done before starting? There's a good chance at 40 it makes more sense to be on HRT than to PCT. What medical support system do you have? Endocrinologist, Urologist, GP, or a mix?

    What specifically do you think costs a lot of money?

    so how do you know your "blood is thick" ? did you get blood work done showing high blood platelet count ? if your hematocrit and hemoglobin were high , so what , thats supposed to happen on cycle . does not mean your blood is thick or your at risk for anything negative.

    at 40 , and having ran a cycle that long . I would look into TRT or blasting and cruising. gains can be maintained and so can your health , you just need to learn how to properly cycle

    I can tell you for me at age 59 I stick with HRT. I feel I look pretty good for my age and I’m about 12% BF. I want to maintain what I have and continue to harden up and GRT is a long term process but my blasting days are over.

    Blast and cruise.
    You wont lose gains and can even grow in the between with the right compounds.

    The mass itself is more dangerous than the compounds. You are obviously ok with needles so I see many many more benifits for you to blast and cruise than cycle.

    Its not quite as deadly a game as you might think.

    Now that may not help with your question about a useless suicidal feeling pct but its what i would do. TRT , its not as bad as u think

    Yes I had blood work done, they told me hemoglobin should be between 8-16 16 being high
    Mine is a 18 now. Far as food it’s been nothing but clean food I have a shack in morning after gym witch I get up at 2:30am be at gym by 3:30 am work put them drink my shack witch is 1scoop of protein with oatmeal and a Banana in it then 3hrs later 12 egg whites and a bagel then the next meal will be 6oz of grass feed beef 1cup of cooked rice and 100 grams of green beans. Anyway there’s no need to tell the rest of the meals, they are clean meals all day. Yes I need help no dought. But so you
    Know I was running 1shot weekly 1cc test 1cc eq 1cc deca . I have noticed that I don’t need much my body responded on little amounts witch was 3cc needle full, and I grew like crazy on that.

    3ccs of test at 250 mg/ml is 750 mg. If you take 2 shots per week, that’s 1500 mg. Little is less than 500 mg/week imo.
