Difficulty pinning
I’m having the hardest time pinning lately and I’m not exactly sure what the problem is. Pushing the plunger in requires so much damn force that I’m sweating. It’s extremely difficult to push it in, it feels like it’s stuck but it does eventually go in.
It takes over a minute of hard pushing to get 1cc in. I recently switched to a smaller gauge draw needle, I’m not sure if that creates some sort of extra pressure in the syringe. It’s also colder outside, sometimes my oils are sitting in an area that’s chilly. I did heat up my syringe a bit on one of my last pins but it didn’t help much, although I didn’t heat it up that much. I’m guessing it has to do with being cold but I figured I’d post here and see what other say.
Anybody else have this problem before and know the solution?

One more thing to add, I’m pinning test cyp and mast prop. But the past few pins I’m been having something similar to tren cough... it’s not that bad but I feel it. The other day I had a minor tren cough session after pinning. Nothing as bad as tren cough but annoying nevertheless. I’ve only had this when the pinning was difficult.

When you say smaller, what size? I roll 25G up to 3 cc’s, no issues. Can definitely run the loaded barrel under hot H2O for a minute or two and that’ll help.
25 and down should be no issue.
You running through scar tissue?
No clue on the cough, I’ve heard various theories but all anecdotal

I pin 23G just fine. The only times I cough are when I pin quads.
But yeah you might want to try heating up the gear a little to where it's body temperature or slightly higher. It'll be a little less viscous then and that might make it easier to pin.Last edited by Honkey_Kong; 01-18-2021 at 08:15 PM.

I’ve experienced that one time quite awhile ago. I never figured it out. I’ve always used a 23G 1” and pin with the same needle I draw with. Definitely cold oil could be a tough push. I always aspirate but I have coughed a couple times. Once in the quad and once in the delt. Pretty sure I was through a vein and the push forced the oil back up the pin into the vein. Hope it sorts out for you.

You’re hitting scar tissue. Happens to me alot in my glutes i find that if i back off them awhile it gets easier again. Hitting scar tissue can be painful and as described the oil can seem like its stuck in the barrel and not going anywhere. Try moving your injection site i bet it stops and as for the coughing you’re likely passing through a vein or capillary it happens to me once every ten pins or so
