    Glute Injection Tips/Advice

    I hate doing Glute injections but I cant keep pinning my thighs/legs. I pin test in my delts more and more lately but its only a small amounts and I dont want to try pushing 1.5-2ml of fluid in my delts lol.

    So i pinned 1.5ml in my right glute last sunday and felt great until monday night/tuesday when it got really sore. Like a bruised muscle feels inside. Its just finally feeling better. I pinned 1.5ml more a few days later in the left glute and I was more careful, went slower and I've had zero pip. I'm pinning primo 750ML a week.. smy issue was injection speed and location. I think i was a bit lower on the glute than I should have been. The left injection went great and I said fuck it and pinned my thigh tonight and its been all good.

    Just looking for advice on glute injections, whats your best method and any advice on what area. I know its upper outer quadrant but I feel like a fucking idiot... and look like one lol trying to do the injections twisted half around and looking in the mirror. I've always done injections in my thighs and delts until lately and I know this is what needs to happen I'm just not doing so good at it lol. Advice please lol

    Hey, I've had some bad pip from my glutes using poor techniques. The below image is really useful. If you go too low you may get some PIP. I always prefer to pin higher up as highlighted in the image.

    Thanks for that man. I believe that's where I went wrong the first time (to low like you said). I've avoided pinning my glutes for along time for this exact reason but its the perfect place with larger volumes. I would like to combine my test and primo which means only 2 pins a week at about 2.5ml each pin. So I gotta get this down.

    I shoot my glutes when I'm sitting down, seems to help.

    After some practice i was able to use my right hand for right glute and left hand for left glute to avoid the whole twisting thing.

    If you are pinning standing up take the weight off of your leg on the side you are pinning, that way your glute is relaxed. Works like a charm!

    You could try just splitting the injections into other locations as well. 0.5 CC in each pec and calf is your 1.5 of total volume

    Do you pin your calfs? I tried it once a long time ago, and it was the worst pain i have ever had from an injection.

    Ya I'm not pinning my pec or calf lol. I pinned my hamstring before. Surprisingly wasnt that bad. I actually never thought about doing it sitting down. I'll try that way tomorrow I think that might be the ticket. On a good note the last two pins have had zero pip or anything, even less than my trt. I guess that just proves I've been injecting too quickly for the past year and just got away with it because I only pin .4ml at a time up until lately.

    Pecs are easy, i only put .5-1ml per side, but its a good spot. After a while i think i will be able to put 2ml per side.

    I got a ways to go before I'll be putting gear in my pecs lol. I can honestly say I'm very dedicated in gym though. I'm here 6 days a week rain, shine, sick, sore, broken... I'm putting in the work 1.5-2hr a day. My biggest opportunity right now is my diet. I need to learn how to eat better and I'm working on that. For now ensuring I get enough protein everyday and try to limit my salt, sugar and high cholesterol foods. I'll get there.

    I actually had the same thoughts forever on pecs. I regret it immensely in retrospect. They’re easily now my favorite pinning spots. The only thing I could think of that would be easier is the abdominus rectus, if it weren’t so potentially problematic.

    Part of this may he bias on my part, since I airlock my pins, which means that I need the syringe to be vertical (or damn near) to make it work properly.
