Food allergy testing - best options?
Hey guys,
I have a friend looking for food allergy testing. The stuff available here in Canada just isn't the greatest so I know people in the past have crossed to the US to get testing done. I know some are available at a decent price but there are also others that are more detailed with a higher price tag.
Im wondering if anyone can provide information on anything related to this topic.

What specifically is he looking to get tested? Does he have a history of anaphylaxis to any specific foods ?
A lot of food allergies in North America are false diagnosis intentionally. I got all my testing done in Canada. I got lucky as my Family Doctor does food allergy testing as well.

His family has a history of celiac and a few other things. His brother can hardly eat any food due to his allergies.
My friend himself does not seem to have many allergies, not yet anyways. He is more so looking at it as a preventative measure due to his family having IBS, crohns etc.
I too get my allergy testing done in Canada. Im allowed to do up to 5 foods per calendar year but he does not want to wait. Money isn't an issue in this case.
