    Testosterone E - Expiry Average

I heard people saying Testosterone can last for 3 years on standard temperature and afterwards it starts getting weaker but still doesn't go bad Usually when I get test (if there is an Expiry date on it) it is usually 1 year but the one I received today says 2027 that's a stretch

You guys been using it for years, what do you guys think about how long Test E could last before it starts getting weaker...

The Test C I got last week says it’s good until 2029. Seems like bullshit.

Not bullshit at all. I inherited some test that was a decade past expiry and it worked just fine. Storage is key, just follow the directions.
Side note...I have a side business disposing of expired gear, should you have concerns just PM for shipping details and I’ll handle it from there.

I said i thought bullshit, not due to any pharmacology or science, but the fact that all pharma brand Test Cyp i get never has an expiration date more than two years out, mostly within one year.

Nine years is so beyond the pale of what you usually find.

    That’s the FDA for you...

Those “expired” meds are then shipped to 3rd world countries to be used (not test per se, but Rx meds in general). I work in pharma, it’s a racket

If you go by fda standards your testosterone is only good for 28 days after you draw your first shot from the vial. All injectable multiple dose vials are supposed to be used within 28 days of piercing the vial. Thats why a lot of pharmacies are only giving multiple 1ml vials of testosterone.

Does that mean they've tested and found it starts going off in 29 days, or does it mean they only ran the test for 28 days so they only could confirm it doesn't go off in that length of time?

I ask because when he put me on Androgel , my urologist told me that the reason the instructions said only to apply it to the shoulders, upper arms and the flanks was that those were the only places they'd tested it on, so those were the only areas they'd confirmed its effectiveness.

The didn’t test shit. That’s just a baseline recommendation applied to all injectables in multidose vials, regardless of preservative content.

We test things on a weekly basis. A few years back we tested some amps that were 5 years PAST expire and they still tested 100% of the label strength. Proper storage is the key. Dark, cool, dry areas.

Apparently if you heat it up a bit, it gets mixed up again. Don't know though, I never saw tren...

It’s not “big pharma’s” call. The FDA put these things in place decades ago, when medications (especially injectables) had a very short shelf life. It is also largely a byproduct of how meds here are dispensed. Oxidation is a thing, and when you have those shitty, non-sealed prescription bottles, meds are far more prone to degradation than something like sealed blister packs. We’re one of the only countries that still do shit this way. Most anywhere else, blisters and single dose ampules are the method of the day.

Expiration date? Tell that that to the Aspirin from the 50's that still has 93%+ potency.

The only thing that matters on the label is compound and concentration. You could sharpie and blackout the rest of the label - it's fluff.

LOL. Buy a bunch of that shit. You can bury it then bring it back out after the Corona Zombie apocalypse has blown over. !

Na Srsly tho, maybe its a typo? Shit, I was surprised by the stuff I bought just last month, manufactured on 10/20/19 but gives EXP date of 05/20/25.

5.5 Years is a long time but 9 fucking years?

Maybe the 28 day figure takes into account the oil sterility and not the potency?
