small bruise around injection site

As the title says , the next day after i pinned the same gear i pin for 10 weeks now , i felt its a bad injection (slin pin) and now there is a small bruise around the site on my shoulder.
There is no swelling just a bruise and pip which i usually dont get . When to worry ? first time it happens after 3 years of injections .
Not panicking , gonna give it a week or so .
Any advice?

If it’s just a bruise with no swelling and doesn’t feel hot to the touch I wouldn’t worry.

This usually happens to me when I pass through a vein. Nothing to get worked up about

Completely normal.
The really fun ones are when you manage to catch a bigger vein just right and end up with a knot of blood that fades to a bruise over a couple of weeks.

Yea there was more blood than usual ( if I get any ) after that injection . Probably hit a vein .

I had a golf ball size one once, I pushed right down on it a lot of blood squirted out and then I had a2 inch perfectly round bruise just like you said.

Yeah, I managed to clip one just right on an outer bicep injection once. It was nowhere near as large as yours, but as soon as I withdrew the pin, blood surged out and a 3/4” knot of blood rapidly ballooned up.
