NPP vs DECA - Huge Differences, why?

Hey Guys,

So I've used Deca for 15+ years and always had nice results. I got into NPP the last 3 years and found WOW, huge results, very fast on low dosages. But even when you consider the ester half life difference I can only seem to tolerate around 150MG a week max of NPP and DECA I can go much higher. My results also seem comparable on 120MG of NPP to 300MG+ of DECA. I get gyno past 150mg of NPP a week split into 3 doses. Deca I could handle 400mg+ no issue.

What are others results with NPP vs DECA?

NPP does not give me the same results as deca however I have only used NPP for quick bulks. I have actually changed from NPP to deca. I frontload the deca for quicker results.

Your body chemistry is better suited for this Phenyprop ester or the NPP is better quality than the deca. Enjoy

Would love to hear the theory behind this or a paper to back up that claim.

Not being a dick or argumentative but I do think there are some misnomers surrounding that statement

From everything that I’ve read (extensively) both are Nandrolone derivatives and the difference is at the ester. There are certain benefits for both long and short but nothing I’ve read would support that one is “better quality” or better suited to body chemistry. Each individual is different. For example, I’ve read anecdotal stories of the uptake of Nandrolone being too fast for some and attributed to an increase of sides quicker, as opposed to the rev up period of a longer ester and acclimation time in the body.

Again, not arguing...curious to know if that statement is anecdotal or the source to back up that claim.

I was deciding between the two and researched extensively and found nothing that supports that

Heard about Deca as soon as I started TRT. Loved my addition of HGH so thought I’d try low dose Deca. Quickly it shut my member now. Does NPP have the same reputation? I’m loving my anavar, and want to expand horizons.

I guess you could say im the document and my word is the theory. From the years of seeing the resulting factors of numerous people and chemicals.
my logical mindset came from years of reading the ins and outs on This Forum. Im not being a dick, just trying enlighten people that are confused or stuck in regards to the situation at hand and give another perspective towards the norm. Just another educated input for the person to evaluate themselves to determine if true.

I think receptor site numbers and sensitivity are key factors to look at when dealing with diff esters and their effect.

You don’t sound like a dick at all. I get sharing the anecdotal experience and I’m always amazed by how we all process things so differently in terms of biologically. I just didn’t know if you had seen a white paper or something similar published

You’re saying you had “Deca dick” from low dose deca? Yes, NPP has the same reputation. All 19nors do. It has to do with prolactin build up and DHT suppression.

Just curious what your TRT dose of deca was? I was running 200 a week with my test and didn’t experience any of it. With Tren I was a maniac and the opposite of deca dick. But because of the notoriety with deca I’m combatting the DHT with proviron, but I’m at a much higher dose and it’s only been a week

I was at 150 test & 150 Deca. Thought they were reasonable doses, but the effect was noticeable. It took me about 2 months to get my libido back. I do use viagra normally though as I am older and have those issues normally.

OK then, cross another compound off my list of possibilities .

Extremely reasonable - I like to run the test higher to compensate for the suppression. What I had deca in my protocol I ran it at 100 and test at 200. Loved it. Also ran 50 mgs of proviron as well which I would recommend to anyone using nandrolone or experiencing ED. If you’re looking for a TRT cruise compound, hard to be proviron in my opinion

Afterwards. In Japan, I ate radioactive fish to maintain my size, but after I moved, I had to find an alternative.

Thank you. I am looking forward to low code Tren when the weather cools & I am sure the gyms are open for good. Can’t wait for the additional added benefit to my libido as well. I’ll definitely look into the proviron.

I done both and now prefer NPP. I dont use deca anymore the results arent any better with it for me and it takes forever to kick....i like quick action so other than trt I use all fast acting esters

The only difference between npp and deca are the esters attached to the nandrolone (poly propionate and decanoate, respectively) which affects at what speed the nandrolone is released into the bloodstreeam.

With that said, anabolics having different effects even with only different esters is not unheard of. I would search for each and gather details on how each has affected others differently along with some pubmed searches analyzing the pharmacokinetics of npp and deca (nandrolone polypropionate vs nandrolone decanoate).

A chemist may chime in here but given the complexity of the human body coupled with how little we know about how transcription, expression, repression etc are impacted by even varying only the time of release (or day etc), it can be considered unsurprising that they will each have different effects in the same person or other people.

Read the source of all opinions, text books, degrees, etc. The ever-changing world of scientific raw data and publications. Its where all "true"/unbiased information comes from.
