Thinking of doing my first cycle?
Hi guys,
I am 24 been training since I was 16 currently sitting at 211 pounds at 5.10ft BF 18-20%
I’ve spent the last 3 months researching on doing my first cycle but I’m honestly unsure if I want to give up my natty status...
Main reason I’m considering doing a cycle is because what I want to achieve isn’t achievable natty...
Although I’m still making progress it’s slow...
I could probably make 2/3years of progress on a single cycle?
I’ve read the sticky on here about doing my first cycle and I would follow something very similar to that...
Considering starting cycle some point in January think I should lean down and drop some BF% first?
Any advice you guys would give?
Looking at running 500MG Test E week for 12 weeks
And injecting every 5 days? Just to keep injections down to a minimum?
Also would I have to run HCG the whole cycle? Was thinking of putting in HCG 14-18 days after last test injection? Doesn’t make sense to me to run it whole cycle?

I wouldn’t start a cycle until I was ready to stay on, and 24 is a pretty young age to commit to the needle and face potential fertility problems.
You will lose whatever you gained on a cycle in just a few months. The reality is that if you trained consistently the last 8 years, or even 4, you probably won’t improve much further as a natty.
HCG should be taken during the cycle to prevent the testes from shutting down. HCG is suppressive in and of itself, so taking it after a cycle doesn’t make much sense to me. I do my TRT injection every 3 days. 5 is ok, but you’ll get the rollercoaster effect the longer you wait between shots.
My suggestion would be to try and lose some fat and get down to around 12-15% bf. If you’re still not happy then, think long and hard about what you want to do next. This lifestyle takes a lot of discipline and sacrifice.

Ok thanks for the sound advice!
I need to do some serious thinking over the next few months.
Realistically I wouldn’t want to be staying on and would like to only run 1 maybe 2 cycles a year to allow body to recover.
Last 2/3 years have been very slow progress not through lack of hard work just think I’ve reached my max potential as a natty...
Over the next 6-8 weeks going to drop my weight down to 200 pounds and go from there.. (should be around 12-15% BF then)
Think this will put me in a good position to try my first cycle (also some more time to research)
I’m not afraid of discipline and hard work!

I did a test and deca cycle around 23, it was great and I looked awesome until i came off.
Did a test only cycle when i was 26, noticeable gains but back to normal when i stopped.
Did another test only cycle around 28 same results.
Around 34 i went on trt
