Disolving oral raw's under tongue? (sublingual)

Just watched a Youtube video where the guy talked about letting orals powders dissolve under your tongue to bypass first metabolism by the liver, increasing the safety of oral steroids . Sounds like bunk to me, but I'm no expert, anyone here ever heard of this? Is it legit?

It will still be picked up & carried into your blood stream

Nothing wrong with doing it that way, but I still usually cap it or throw it in a drink - depending on the raw
