Can Anyone Get Their Own Blood Work?

Can anyone request their own blood order through people like LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics? Does it have to be ordered by an actual physician? I see some of the laboratories offer limited health panel test direct to the public, but what if I want a full lipid, liver, hormones, etc. levels tested? Any way of bypassing the actual doctor?

Most states allow it. Try privatemdlabs, discounted labs, etc. You should be able to order pretty much any panel or groups of panels they have.

For some reason, Quest's priced have been cheaper than LabCorp recently.

Edit: You order your panels, pay, have blood drawn, they email results to you from a secure portal, and your Dr. never sees them unless you share the results.

    Yes,
Ultalabtest.com just went myself the beginning of the month. Order what ever panels you want. They email the results. Very easy. My total cost was 260ish. Had a few test I didn't have to have, just wanted them(b12,vitamin D,lh/Fsh) They just send you to a Quest draw center. I will post a template of what I ordered. Not all needed.

I know that is splitting hairs, but I was kind of surprised when I did my first order long long ago and there was a doctor listed, one I did not recognize and was like who the hell is that.

Also, allow me to second ultalabtests.com. I just got the last of my bloodwork from 5 days ago. They do allow results to trickle in as available, so I got my PSA like the next day and just got my Total and Free T today.
He is absolutely correct. I believe you may have been who sent me to them Cylon (have to look back). That said it was very easy.

Some panels seem to take longer, too. DHT assay always seems to increase T/A times for me.

Built my own. The Trt center wouldn't run my panels anymore. I just used the same test that they were pulling.

BTW, I'm signed up at both Quest and Ultalabtests. I have found that Ulta will release the results as they come in, where Quest waits until they are all in before notifying me. Anybody else find that to be the case?
I've gotten partial results from LabCorp before, but once it was due to the phlebotomist not sufficient number of vacutainers ( I could tell by looking because I was doing a complete iron panel, C-reactive protein, and PT-INR in addition to the usual CBC, CMP, total/free, E2, and IGF-1). The other time I strongly suspect they lost or broke a vacutainer.
