First test cycle, what to expect?
I'm 30 years old and have been training off and on for 15 years, although wasn't as committed until the last 4 years. Ive run 1 sarms cycle last summer and made crazy progress while cutting/recomping. The bottles said rad140 and Ostarine, although who really knows wtf they were I took 20mg of rad and 30mg of Ostarine and it worked. My squat jumped up from 480lb to doing 500lb for triples. And deadlift jumped from 550 to 615. I started the cycle at 226 body weight and ended at 220 and way leaner in the 10% bodyfat range.
Last week I got some test cyp. I've started injecting 250mg 2x per week, so 500mg/week total after getting some baseline bloodwork done. I think I'm starting to feel it come on. I have a good amount of arimidex on hand incase estrogen gets out of hand. Also hcg and nolvadex for pct. What are some realistic expectations for this cycle? I'm currently 220lb at around 15-16% bodyfat. I plan to eat close to maintenance and try to lean out a bit and recomp. Is it safe to expect this to build more muscle than rad and Ostarine? Debating possibly throwing a low dose of anavar from week 6-12 depending on how things are going.. How tall are you? I'm in my second week of test cyp and feel normal so far.

You prob won’t feel anything until week 5-7... If you have only done Sarms you can expect some really good gains on test. As long as your diet and training are on point! 500mg of test is a good cycle to start with. You could also throw in 10mg of Nolva as well to prevent any gyno issues. Have fun and don’t waste it.
Oh and your strength will increase so of you haven’t been training for a while be careful. Enjoy the ride!

Diet and training is consistent. Nolva is better than arimidex for preventing gyno?

You should feel the kick about week 5. That's usually when I notice significant increases in strength. You should start noticing some weight increase unless you are cutting. Could expect to gain 10 to 20lbs over the cycle, it'll be some water weight but some muscle tissue if you're training hard and eating enough

Following this thread. I will be doing my first cycle a couple months from now and like you I have done SARMS before. Two cycles of Ostarine for a cut and am currently on LGD 4033. Will like to see how this works out for you.

Var would be a good addition considering your goals for this cycle. 50mg/day is a good dosage for me. I typically run it during the last 8 weeks of a cycle. I’ve read that the gains are easier to keep, however, since I’ve started using Var, all of my cycles have included Deca so it’s really hard to say if the Var provided any real benefit there. The primary benefit for me is cleaning up the gains from the cycle- the weight I put on is simply better weight. As I’ve progressed I’ve continue to add different drugs to the end of a cycle, Clen and T3 Primarily, but I graduated to that. I took advice from other threads on this forum that basically indicated you shouldn’t throw the kitchen sink at your first cycle. You will see great results on this first one, then it will start to be a little harder to get the same results, which is where you can start adding new components to continue the progress. Keep the diet in check and don’t forget the cardio. Good luck!

A little over 2 weeks in and strength hasn't exploded yet however am getting a little stronger every workout. Still a long ways to go before I hit the numbers I was hitting on rad140 and Ostarine but am hopeful. People who haven't seen me since the cycle have commented how I look a little leaner and more muscular. Definely a strong increase in libido for sure and feel good overall.

You'd be better served running your HCG during your cycle @ 250 IU's x 2 per week.

I went on a big sarm cycle last summer. I ran a proper pct and took 7 months off but I don't know that my test levels ever bounced back. Maybe the bloods were off but I felt like shit which is why I was interested in getting my testosterone levels in the first place. But yeah, I doubt I've always had low t, was always a good athlete. But I do think they have been low since that sarm cycle

The LGD 4033 has worked really well for me so I am really excited to see how a test cycle will do. I'm only 5'5 and just tipped the scale at 202lbs. Started at 185 4 weeks ago. I didnt start feeling the strength gains until around the third week. Interested to see when you start showing/feeling the gains. Keep us updated!

I'm starting to see increase in strength and stamina in the gym. I do 2 deadlift workouts per week. 1 day @ 5x3 and 1 day @ 3x8. Today I did my 3x8 workout and have put 40 pounds onto my working sets. I was pretty detrained when I started the cycle as I was rehabbing a disc injury but was at 3x8 with 405. Today I went up to 445 for my 3x8 and had a lot more in the tank. I think I was somewhere around 475 for my working sets when peaked on sarms . Strength seems to be coming on faster now.
