    1" vs 1.5" needles

I bought a smaller amount of 1" needles at the pharm and then bought a bulk supply of 1.5" needles online. Looking at the 1.5" and jesus christ those are long. Worried I'm going to go deeper than I want to... Anybody use 1.5" needles to inject glutes?

What's wrong with 1.5"? I prefer them. Plus, if you're drawing from an amp they'll reach the bottom.

I was taught that you don't bury the needle anyway. Always leave a tiny bit out. This way if you get a dud and it comes off and is left in your flesh you can just pull it out yourself without a trip to the ER.

    I use both, prefer 1”.

As Ernst said, you don’t have to bury the needle.
Also depends if you have a fat ass, if so then you’re better off with a 1.5”

Have no issues with a 1.5” in shoulders, glutes or quads. You’ll be fine...

I just keep 1” around, but if 1.5 is all I could get, that would be fine too.
Just because you have an extra 0.5” of pin doesn’t mean that you have to use it. I pretty much never sink to the hilt, even with 1”, so it’s irrelevant.

All I’ve ever used is 1.5” and glute injections. Never had an issue.

1.5" in glutes is perfect IMO.

Depends how large and how lean you are.

I have always used the 1.5 and not had an issue with them. I checked the store where I get them and they were actually cheaper than the 1 inch so I stayed using the 1.5 auto-retractable

I used to think it was mandatory to have a 1.5” , over the years ive evolved. I use 1” in glutes and slin pins in smaller muscle groups. Shorter needles mean less chance of passing through a vein or nerve.

I don't think it matters, they're both fine to use. But yeah, if you got a fat ass, you might want to go with the 1.5" when injecting in your glute

The only time I’ve gone through a vein and had a blood squirting incident was with 1.5” in the glutes since switching to 1” hasn’t happened again in like 10 years...could just be coincidence but thought I’d chime in...

I switched 1/2” 29 gauge slin pins years ago. (Trt) Shoot in the shoulders and lower glutes. Bloodwork proves it works flawlessly. Your limited to 1cc though.

Also, there are some people who use TRT and inject subcutaneous amd not into muscle at all. I've been told, it has less estro conversion this way, but has to be injected more frequently.

I'd think insulin needles would be perfect for this. And if subcutaneous injections work the way people say, then doesn't matter if you get into muscle tissue or not if you use insulin pins.

I don't have a fat ass so I like the 1", which also allows me to use the same length to inject delts. I couldn't imagine an extra 1/2" inch of needle into my delt or trying to leave a little hanging out while injecting. Something about making a dent in the muscle from the needle being completely depressed lets me know I'm deep enough

How is it drawing the oils with a slin pin? Can you pull Tren through it?

Backload them. Pulling through a slin pin is awful, and since you can’t swap the pin, you don’t want to blunt it with a bunch of passes through stoppers before injecting.

You can pull just about anything through it i use 29g I believe. Its pretty bad if you dont warm the oil up. Ill warm everything im shooting about 10 minutes on a low heat stove top. Takes about 30 seconds to draw it up

Do you put them in a little sauce pan with some water to keep the glass from breaking?

I broke a cheap watson test vial once because i had put it on the stove eye that had a crack in it, i put the vial right on the glass crack like an idiot and it busted due to direct heat. Lesson learned never had a problem since

It takes 15 seconds to load 40mgs of cypionate without warming so I assume 1 minute per cc. 29guage
