Low Test Levels After 8 Week Blast

So I did an 8 week blast with test p, npp and anavar . I am on TRT (been on for 3 years now) so I just went back to my prescribed dosage which I also maintained throughout the blast. So it looked like this:

    Test C 180mg ew
    Test P 100mg eod 1-8
    NPP 100mg eod 1-8
    Anavar 50mg ed 1-6

Prior to hopping on this blast my total test level was 1138 and now they are 468 just 5 weeks after stopping the blast. I don't understand why it would be lower now. Any ideas? My doctor asked me today if I missed a shot or something. I was actually surprised to hear how low the number was. All my other bloodwork was normal.

I’m just speculating. When you were on cycle, you were converting much more test to estrogen. As your test has just recently returned to normal, your body is still converting at the same rate, but with much less test to work with. So maybe you need to give your HPTA some time to regulate itself. Did you get your estrogen checked?

I was using 12.5 aromasin eod when I was on. Estrogen and everything else was in range. Click image for larger version.

What I write will be controversial on this board...

But my guess is that your blast drastically lowered your SHBG.
This in turns makes you use up you test quicker.
Thus your test reading will be lower.

SHBG and albumin bind to test and render it unusable while bound.
It also stops the test from degrading.
Free test (test no ester) has a very short half life.
If you had no SHBG and albumin then you would run out of test by the end of the day. (you produce test when you sleep)

I could be more detailed and complex but I don't have time right now.

    note:
I am assuming you are using pharmaceutical grade test for your TRT.
I am assuming your blood was drawn the same amount of time after your injections.

If not then different quality test and different length of time can be why your test levels are different now.

Yes, I use pharmaceutical grade test for my TRT. My SHBG is always near the top of the range when I get labs drawn. This last time is was lower at 37.5. Prior to this it was 54.3, with the top of their reference range being 55.9. There may have been a small difference in time from when these two sets of labs were drawn, but not more than an hour or so. I always get labs drawn at 9am on a Tuesday 3.5 days after my last injection.

Thank you both for your responses, btw.

Not sure I'd call it controversial. Read this excerpt from a study DD and let me know if this is related to what you describe:

In this study we have demonstrated that in the absence of SHBG large amounts of Te rapidly enter the cell where they are inactivated by conjugation to glucuronic acid and effluxed. In the presence of SHBG however, while there is reduced Te uptake, glucuronidation and efflux of Te are also reduced and the effects of Te on androgen responsive genes are enhanced. This in vitro study of the role of SHBG may have significant clinical relevance, and as such, the assessment of androgen deficiency in vivo should simply rely not only on measurements of total Te alone but also on the evaluation of serum SHBG levels.
These findings clearly demonstrate that SHBG plays an important regulatory and intracellular role to modify Te metabolism and function and to promote cell growth. These observations will need to be confirmed in other androgen sensitive tissues. If a consistent effect is demonstrated, it will significantly change our current understanding of the role of SHBG in health and disease.
I'm just not sure how this directly effects testosterone readings.

DD your last Notes are on point as always.

So would bio/free test be higher for him then?
Or is it all hitting receptors and all blood values will be lower?

Just curious - why do people not always get their free test as well? Is it really that much more expensive? I feel like post cycle it would make a lot of sense to really get ALL labs and it would likely help to answer these questions because just a total test isn't really gonna give much to work with when problem solving. If you have all of your bloods, can you just list them all in the original post? Would definitely help.
