    Lump at Injection site

Hi all, I have been injecting test e, into the top right of each glute (swapping glute every time I inject) However around 3 weeks into cycle a lump formed where I had been injecting in the right glute (no such issue with the left glute)
There was no pain or discomfort.
I decided to stick to the left glute until the lump disappeared, on week 4 I injected into the right glute as the lump had gone with no issues. After one injection in the right glute a new lump has appeared at the injection site.

Does anyone know what the cause of this is?
Limited and conflicting opinions online so thought I’d try on here.
    Thanks

It’s totally normal, happens all the time. After any injection, swelling and irritation (inflammation) can occur at the site where the needle entered the skin. This is a reaction to the needle or to the medicine that was injected. Or it may be a reaction to both.

Ice it, take an Advil and keep rotating sites. The ONLY time to worry is if it’s gets hot to the touch, filled with pus, extremely red or has red streaks….

    Again, happens to everyone

Cheers for the reassurance, that’s what I thought. My only concern was that it was only happening to the right glute. But it appears that it’s pure coincidence. So I should keep swapping sites even if there is a lump?

Definitely keep swapping sites. Do take it very seriously though. I got a serious infection a few years back and had to have surgery for it to be drained. Not something you want to go through.

There’s probably some residual inflammation that you can’t feel at the surface level and is being aggravated when you jab there again….try moving over an inch or so in any direction to avoid the sub surface nodule. Definitely want to rotate, it may take 3-4 weeks for it to calm down. If you hit it every other week, it’s just going to continue to rise up.

To Tarmy’s point, definitely keep an eye on it but again it’s when it’s hot to the touch, red, streaky, overly painful or has a whitehead…that’s when there’s a concern. I have a couple of lumps currently, comes with the territory man.

If you do happen to get an infection, don’t start poking it and trying to drain it yourself (yes plenty of guys have done this, it’s ill advised) get an antibiotic and treat it systematically.

Thank you guys, I have no concerns about it, since the first lump came and went without issue, so I have no reason to believe this one won’t, I’ll keep rotating but move the injection site over.
    Thanks for the advice

So iv had lumps it’s fairly normal (1 outta every cycle) I even ran out of my 3ml syringes and decided to load up 1ml 5/16 insulin syringe that seemed to do the trick no lumps but But the only worry iv ever had is when it was hot to touch and my whole delt was red and painful for 4days that was with the normal 23g 3ml that’s the sign for infection the cure was a 1ml shot of Rocephin cleared it right up I use all the Necessary Precautions every pin things like this seem unavoidable

I have to use 21g with the enanthate I have now it's to thick for 23 and it takes to long to plunge with 22g. And I had a lump last time but it went away after a couple weeks.
