    reusing draw needle or syringe?

just a random thought/question. is it safe to use the same drawing needle each time? how about syringe? of course would use a new needle to inject with. but was curious about the first part.

Nah bro …needles and syringes are fairly cheap. I would just use a new needle.

A box of 100 syringes with needles is like 10 bucks.

    Just reuse new each time!

Boston loyd reuses needles. But fuk that. It's not worth infection. They literally have to cut the infection out of your muscle. Is it worth the risk when needles are so inexpensive?

I think another good question would be.

Is it OK to prepare shots days maybe even weeks ahead? Will the oil sitting in a plastic syringe cause any damage to the oil or void sterility? If so what about those fancy glass syringes and giving a good alcohol bath after each use?

Personally if I could preload three weeks worth of shots in one pain in the ass sitting I’d be a happy camper on shot days.

I always reuse the drawing needle and syringe. Sometimes use it for injections also. When im out of needles.

Never had any problemes. But it hurts more to reuse inhection needles.
And ihave done it hundreds of times.

I have always been curious about pre-loading as well to save time. Or for trips/vacations.

Technically, the syringe (even with the cap on) is still open to the atmosphere. The needle itself is a path for contaminants.

I have preloaded before for a 5 day road trip. I kept all the pre-loaded syringes in a zip-loc bag for extra security.

Still have no idea if it's a good or bad idea.

I've never found that preloads saved me any time.

If you are traveling and have a script for your T, you're good. If you don't have a script, filter what you need into a small presealed vial. Very easy to conceal.

For me, re-using needles or syringes is not worth the risk. Will you get by with, quite possibly.
Is it worth the risk? I can promise you, if you manage to get bacteremia, you'll never do it again.

Syringes are not forever sterile. They are sterile only once, when the come out of their packaging. Unless by chance you are all mad scientist (nothing wrong with that) and are using glass syringes that are properly disinfected and sterilized after each use.

    But yeah, just don't.
Lol exactly. I never reused an oil syringe but in the beginning I’d reuse HCG syringes cause they don’t get dull from 1 subQ shot.

Then I thought wtf am I doing? I paid $11 for 100 insulin pins and I’m far from broke. I don’t think it’s a huge risk to reuse one I immediately capped after use. But I KNOW it is much riskier than clean pin.

My thought is if I can’t source the pins and/or ancillaries I need I’m not ready to start.

Sterility is a huge part of harm reduction for both drug users and steroid users. But steroid users aren’t broke junkies so we don’t need to get infections or share aids needles with each other. Someone could sterilize it with a lighter and alcohol wipe but that just feels like wading in the shallow end of junkie behaviors.

If you're worrying about the cost or availability of syringes/needles, then you shouldn't be doing steroids.

If you want to reuse them, you're just rolling the dice. Would you be able to get away with reusing the same syringe? Maybe. But you might also manage to give yourself an infection too. Most of us on here are pretty self-conscious about how we look. How do you think you'll feel with a nasty scar and a deformed muscle after a surgeon digs out the infection?

It's not worth the risk. Pay the $.10 and do it right.

No its not safe and Ill tell you why from experience. I did this not long ago just as an experiment a few weeks ago. I saved the draw syringe and made sure it was empty and sealed. I used it again a little over a week later and it looked fine until I squeezed the last little bit out and it looked like black ink. Watered down ink but still black. It dissolved the plunger a little. Not enough that you could see by with your eyes or notice in the mix of a few CC but when you push out the last little bit several times it was obvious.
