    What should I cycle next?

So I'm about to wrap up my lastest cycle and have tried to keep it basic but noticing this time around the results weren't so great and trying lose bf has been a real struggle (I'm 45).

l also jumped on cycle after the last lockdown in my area, hadn't been to the gym in about 2 months, just worked out with what I had at home so not sure if that had anything to with it.

This last cycle was my 5th one and have only ever run test, masteron, and anavar:

250mg test cyp twice per week
200mg masteron enth twice per week
Anavar 50mg 5 days per week
    16 weeks max

I'm not really comfortable with taking tren or heavy compounds like that, or too many different things at once, but thinking maybe it's time to change it up, or start increasing my doses for the next go around for better results.

    45
    245lbs.
Training for about 7 years now

    What would you guys suggest?

    Thanks!

How tall are you? You don’t look 245 in your avatar. Not trying to be offensive, just trying to see the big picture. Guessing you’re holding the fat in your lower 1/3 ab?

Tren is a great recomp drug for me (if the goal is leaning out) but understand your reservations.

Primo comes to mind or bumping up your test dose, but you’ll probably bloat along with it. Var has never done much for me (I’m a few years older than you). I’ve always kept it pretty simple with either deca or tren with mast and test.

I did run some primo a long time ago and had success building lean gains. I can tell you that adding proviron to my stacks has been a game changer as well and my labs back it up…it’s crazy what my free test scores go to when I have it on board. Have you pulled labs on 500 a week of test? Could be that you’re just not getting the bioavailability? When I run 50 (25 BID) my free test goes from 75 to almost 400.

You could start there or look to add on some quality primo. Have never run EQ, don’t love Dbol, winny dried out my joints (but know it has its loyalists).

Not really sure what else to add? Tren is successful for me, but at a price. One I’ve been happy to pay until this last go round.

Have you been getting quality gear? Something else to consider…

Not sure if that helps or not but figured I’d share my experiences with you. Hopefully get the conversations started

6'3...pic is from like 4 years ago and prob weighed 200lbs soaking wet lol

I'm in Canada so can't get labs, has to be through family physician, a specialist or have to go to private clinic which costs big bucks.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll do more research on those.

I've been getting my gear from the same source for the last 3 cycles... First one from him I made really good gains, second one not so much, and this last one not that great, like I got super strong, but my muscle quality was crap and lost very little bf... Diets been decent, getting my macros in every day, even added cardio after every weight day, and on rest days too and still nothing so kind of frustrated with that.

You can't out train a bad diet.

You can't out gear a bad diet either.

If the main issue is body fat. Fix this first.

    What's your maintenance calories?

    What's your weekly calorie intake?

Makes sense, you look tall and lean in the pic which is why I was asking. Is that the goal or leaning up and more muscle? (Stupid question, lol. That’s ideally what we all want. More of a BF% question(

Is it more just visceral fat in the lower third abdomen out of curiosity?

It’s our age brother and can be the toughest to get rid of. Genetics and age are two massive mountains to climb. Gear and a cut diet may not be enough. Stims and things like clenbuterol may be the path, but frankly they’ve always scared the shit out of me….many many have had great success though. (I’ve always been able to stay lean and I’m happy at 10% without killing myself)

I ask about the region just because us mid 40’s guys tend to hold it there and it’s a mofo to get rid of.

Sounds like you’re on the right path and you look lean as shit in your avi shuck is why I was asking. Guessing the 245# wasn’t weight you wanted?

Anyhow, you’re in the right place and on the right direction. Diet section and other avenues outside of just testosterone may behoove you.

I agree with what S&D and Killakeith stated. I have run Test E/C/P, EQ, Deca, DHB, Primo, Sustanon, and Anavar. The only ones I would run now are the testosterones, deca, and primo (maybe). EQ makes my blood too thick and I get hungry and lethargic (not good for weight loss). Sustanon I don't like because of all the different esters and the ups and downs if you don't inject every other day. DHB has some horrible pip, as S&D can attest to - it also appears to be very kidney toxic from my research. Primo is good with very little sides, but it is very erythropoietic and you will may likely need to donate after your cycle. Anavar, I didn't really like because I was getting a lot of lower back pumps (may have been the combination with other steroids that did it). Like you, I'm not touching tren or anything harsh, or anything that messes too much with hair. I'd use masteron, except for this reason.

Imo, you should just up your doses and see how it goes. Watch your carb intake if you wanna lose weight.

Agreed, and do know this, I am eating in a deficit however not religious about it (eyeing it), but maybe need to lower it because it's getting fucking impossible to lose my lower stomach and back even with cardio.

I have my calculator set to 2500... Maintenance is around 2900. Not tracking weekly, just daily. And making sure I get my macros in... I'm using 0.8g per pound for protein, so I get in a minium 200g+ per day, and fill the rest with whatever I've got left.

100% visceral and stubborn AF to lose, always has been and seems got be getting worse to burn off. It's all lower ab and back/hips.

Ya my guess also, age... It's just getting harder to lose, so that being said 245 is not where I want to be, more like 225 range. I'm not too interested in size anymore, I just want to stay lean 10-12% bf. So maybe just need to tune up the diet, I'm doing the same things I've always done diet wise and have been fine, but age

I think the 2 months no gym and shit diet before I started played a role in it, it's took a long time to get my strength up, like literally kicked in the last 3 weeks... And I'm on week 13 now.

I am, this was my first blast since going on so once I'm up... It's back down to the script until I can hit it again, hence why I'm asking since this last cycle seemed off. So I need to really make the best out of these last few weeks and lose this bf
