    First time on Cabergoline

Hi, my Prolactin has been rising for a while causing me ED issues. My doc has prescribed Cabergoline at 500 microgram once a week, few questions
    - what time of the day shall I have this?
    - What shall I expect from this? As in what side effects.
    - Also how long before this brings my levels down?
    - Does this dose seem OK? Not too much or too little?

Prolactin is at 369, it was 332 2 months ago, highest value for normal is meant to be 324.

The Mayo Clinic recommends doctors starting the patient off at .25mg twice a week. So the dose comes out to the same as what your doctor prescribed, it's just you're getting it at once instead of spread out.

My experiences on caber is that the sides were pretty mild. I had a slight headache, but that eventually went away the more I took it. You might get dizziness, constipation or you might have to fart a lot.

But as far as when to take it, you should take it whenever time of day you can consistently remember to take it.

Unfortunately, in reality, less than 1% of prescribing physicians know a thing about cabergoline.

    Good guidance from Honkey_Kong.
A little cabergoline goes a long way. Break up a tab into 2-3 doses and dose e4-5d.
One (side) effect can be increased sex drive, gl (to your better half).
