dextrose is a simple sugar i belive, it should only be used post workout or right after an insulin injection. at leats thats how i use it ! in between cycles i insulin and i take in about 150 grams of dextrose immediately after my injections !

No your body uses it imediately to replenish glycogen stores, and it also helps your body absorb the protien from the shake. Now if you drink it at various times, and not after working out then yes it will convert to fat and cause a huge insulin spike...Quote:
