Someone here told me about Dextrose: A question

Someone gave me a site to order dextrose. Do many people here use bulk dextrose? Is this for strictly post workout?

dextrose is a simple sugar i belive, it should only be used post workout or right after an insulin injection. at leats thats how i use it ! in between cycles i insulin and i take in about 150 grams of dextrose immediately after my injections !

Yes alot of people SHOULD be taking dextrose after a workout...i take about 75g...some take more though. You can order it from www.bulkfoods.com
Its only like 5.99 for 5 pounds or some shit like that.
or you just use gatorade, or honey...i like the dextrose in my PWO shake, it makes it taste better too.

No your body uses it imediately to replenish glycogen stores, and it also helps your body absorb the protien from the shake. Now if you drink it at various times, and not after working out then yes it will convert to fat and cause a huge insulin spike...
