Blood work thoughts?-264e34f5-086c-445c-8fa7-a0096fc9d73a.jpgThis is my blood while on a cruise dose of 200mg a week. Are my test levels low for that dose? And any thoughts on my other numbers is welcome.Blood work thoughts?-895c075d-5b82-4850-b2d8-5887bc2c7bec.jpgBlood work thoughts?-9899e07d-654b-4634-a04c-0167ba8e2b7c.jpgClick image for larger version.

Your numbers are low. Scripted or UGL?

What date is the lab results from?

Was this blood work taken at trough? I bet it was, and I bet that you are injecting once a week. If so, change that to twice a week.

Also, donate a pint at the blood bank to get your RBC and a couple of other numbers back in line.

What is trough? I'm at 100 pinned twice a week, is that normal test levels at that dose? And yes I've been planning on giving blood just been busy as hell.

Google “trough level” or “trough concentration”

Regardless, your gear isn’t good. Your numbers are way too low for 200 mgs a week. Trough or not with biweekly injections.

What was your baseline before starting TRT?

Guessing no idea? May have to google “baseline” too

I'm not really on TRT, I am coming off a cycle of 500mg test though. This was 3-4 weeks off cycle. Also I didn't get blood work before this last cycle it's been years since I got any base blood work done.

I’m not sure if I’m seeing this correctly but you might have your full name on one of those photos. You should probably crop that out.

So you did a cycle of 500 a week and now are crusing? at 200 and these are your numbers ?
I assume your results were as good as my erection level in a male locker room.
Gear is bunk. I dont care how bad of a responder anyone is.
For reference 120 a week of pharma grade twice a week injections puts me at 1142 total,215 free .
And most guys at that dose will be at least 700.
    At 200 a week?
Hell at these levels posted, you can get on TRT for any clinic in the nation and actually have good gear.

Cycle gear was a different source results were pretty good considering my sleep was shit the whole time. Lost that source and the cruise gear is different and most likely yes shit. I wish any clinic would get me in trt first two I've called said anything over 400 is too high.

I'll echo this as well as I just went through the same thing myself. Was on the gel for over 2 years. Switched to test c injection trt about 4 months ago. Started with 200mg once a week, then split that to 100mg twice a week. My test was 1400 at that dose.

For comparison purposes, 80mg x 2 keeps me in the 900's.
    100 mgs x 2 in the 1400's.\
Both with BW on a Monday morning and prior injection the previous Thursday morning.

Also, start taking fish oil. Your triglycerides suck. Yes, they're in range but they should be half of that.

True story thy literally JUST happened and is a testament to just how easy it is.

Saw my ortho this morning to review an MRI I had done last Saturday. My L4/5 has been barking and want to get an epidural. We start talking (great dude, known him a while) agrees we’ll try the shot and asks what other symptoms I’m having. Been having the usual (numbness, tingling, distal extremity stuff) and I just tell him I’m cruising on UGL test and Deca and doing my own hormone bloodwork. (Being a post cancer patient) I get routine bloodwork every month…full panel just doesn’t include hormones.

We start chatting about sports, college, pro and Olympic athletes and “doping”. (I played football 1000 years ago at our university) and he tells me about this college kid he’s working with that had been juicing and now is on TRT and how he has to write him a letter to the NCAA. The kid was taking everything he says.

Basically he just says how common it is now and everyone is doing it. Then he states that anyone under 600 total should just go on, also tells me how’s he not a fan of AI’s or clomid, yada yada.

I agree and he turns to me and says “do you just want me to write you a script so you don’t have to order it online anymore? Probably safer”.
Tells me he’ll have to put it in my chart but I can just monitor my bloods and let him know.

Ummmm, HELL YES! Tell him what I was previously RX’d (when I did go to the clinic) and he says “perfect, I’ll send it in”. He wrote for a 10 ML vial with 12 refills dosed at 200 mgs per week. Went to the local pharmacy (where I asked him to send it. Regularly use CVS, but they like to give you the on 1 ML mini vials which blow) and voila, 30 minutes later I’m holding a bottle of Watson test in my hand and with Good RX it was 28$.

My point for sharing is…IT’S THAT EASY these days. You just have to ask or tell them what you want. No way in hell a clinic is telling you NO with numbers that low. Go advocate for yourself.

    Good luck

I agree your T levels are way low. .3 cc 2x/week puts me right at 1200ng/dL.

    Bump up your water intake.

I'm on the fence about the blood donation. Your Hct and Hgb are in range, RBC is high, but your MCV and MCH are low. I can't make out your RDW ( red cell distribution width).

I don't see any liver enzymes (ALP, ALT, or AST)? Agree your triglycerides and HDL need some help.

Whatever you're injecting, I would trash it. It's not doing you any good.

Easy, man. S&D is telling you don't believe what the clinic is telling you, not saying that he doesn't believe you. At least that's the way it seems to me

    Simmer down grown man

Is this better? YOU shouldn’t believe that one bit. Happy?

I just wrote you a fucking novel telling you to advocate for yourself, be the squeaky wheel. It’s far more common these days and if those are your levels you deserve treatment. Have them check your estrogen too, for fucks sake

Your total T has come up but bro, it’s still way too low and you deserve scripted T. I truly hope your appointment goes well tomorrow as you are definitely on the lower side of normal and with the dosages you’ve been taking. (As others have pointed out) you should be WAY higher than in the 400’s. Trough or not, biweekly or not. Fingers crossed…

Awesome story. Similar here. My Uro is fantastic. I'm written more than I actually need as he knows I don't like to be micromanaged by pharmacies. Including ancillaries (dex, nolva, caber) and even deca at one time, but insurance weaseled their way out of paying for it somehow. Bloodwork whenever I want, which he gives me scripts to write myself, no shit. It's a trust thing as from day one he knew my knowledge base was high and I would never do anything to violate that trust. He actually calls me for advice when he has problem guys coming in due to abuse. Great relationship.

I've got to get me one of these kinds of docs. I've hit the neurosurgeon up about deca or a little var and so far I've come up empty handed.

He offered a refill of percs for the days I was hurting, but I didn't want them. I'd much rather he cross my palm with a script for some PAR oxandrolone, preferably with refills!

Going to try again next visit. Maybe I should open the conversation with something other than, *Doc, I need something for my mornings and my evenings".

Wish I could find a doc like you guys.

Do you have low test levels? I'm just going to a mens health clinic that take payment from my ppo health plans heath care expense visa. I'm not g2g yet but seems promising.

    Good luck
Did he give you the reason he didn't like ais or clomid? Seems like a doctor would see their use while cycling.

AI’s have their own host of issues and aren’t necessary unless you’re exhibiting signs of high estrogen, simple as that. Symptom management.

The belief that they’re mandatory is antiquated (for TRT OR cycling). I’m not looking to restart my HPTA, so again totally unnecessary. AI’s and SERM’s have their own side effects and can are best to be avoided unless necessary (blood work and symptoms, imo, symptoms far more important).

They’re obviously used for very different things, but get tossed in often times without reasoning.

Going to try again next visit. Maybe I should open the conversation with something other than, *Doc, I need something for my mornings and my evenings".
Take a drive to the upper Carolina. My hormone Dr is great. Same boat. He wrote me a script for 200mg a week. So now I have a bumper amount only doing 75mg a week. Pretty sure he'll write scripts for other things. He loves deca personally and keeps mentioning it which gives me the impression he would write a script. As long as it's within the parameters of a needed hormone drug.

The conflicting information is such a PITA for us newbs. It's obvious you know what you are talking about, but then the Austinite articles do too.

I plan to try Dbol for the first time soon, and some have said don't use an AI unless symptoms happen. Then I see stuff about Gyno and it's scary AF.

Just so hard to sift through all the information.

Glad you’re reading the stickies but some of it is outdated. The key is to establish some bloodwork and ALWAYS have your ancillaries on hand. Start a thread and propose what you want to do.

You’ll hear some folks here who disagree on orals but ultimately you decide for yourself. I’m fine with them, but just know what you’re getting into with Dbol. It’s estrogen heavy and inflates you until the test kicks in and quits working once you stop taking it. There are some good orals available though (imho) that can be incorporated. The idea is if it’s your first run, to simplify your cycle so that you know what drug is responsible for what side effect. If you have a smorgasbord of a stack, it’s difficult to tell what’s doing what.

Test only really is a great idea (with an AI and a SERM on hand). See how you do with elevated T and E2 and how your body reacts. If you’re getting puffy and moody, you can lower estrogen with an AI. Start feeling a lump or gyno symptoms, knock it back with the SERM

HCG can be used, but isn’t necessary if you’re ok with your nuts shriveling a little bit. Want them plump, then add it if you so desire. For me, it’s a meh. We don’t all react the same, not even close so you have to be prepared to audible, it’s a science project so to speak. Unfortunately it’s not linear and you need to be dynamic.

Hope that helps a little bit

But doctors arent as generous with the dosage.
This is why I said I wish could find doctors like theirs.lol.

If you don't mind me asking what is the protocol they have you on? And are they prescribing hcg or gonadotropin, and what is the total with everything included?

You didn't ask me but I'll answer with regards to my hormone clinic. Yes mine will prescribe hcg as well as put ancillaries. I think my initial visit was 150 bucks for the consult. Labs are 50 bucks and each subsequent office check ups and going over labs is also 50.

Pretty sure he'll write scripts for other stuff as well. I know he mentioned var and deca several times.

He started me on 200mg week test c. It was way more than I need, but he left at that so at my current dose of 75mg a week, I have a buffer to play with the dose and I don't run out since my script is for a 10 week supply.

Your urologist? I was wondering who I would go see about my low T would it be a urologist or an endocrinologist?

Got it sounds about the same as what my clinic told me I haven't gotten anything from them yet but what about the prescription itself? Is that included in the fees you're talking about?

The script is like a regular Dr prescription. He called it in to my pharmacy, I went and picked it up. I was on the gel before and my insurance was covering that. I paid 10 bucks for a 60 day supply of the gel. I didn't file this script on my insurance...yet, but it was like 38 bucks for a 10 week/200mg per week supply. This guy is a licensed PA, just like most regular primary care clinics have...around here anyway. Not many Doctors work in PCP's anymore.

Appreciate the info hopefully all goes well with my doctor this Tuesday, like many people stated above I can't see them not giving it to me with levels in the 300-400 range.
