    T-bol and/or Parabolan for bicyclist

    Hi:

Looking for some advice or confirmation. I am a cyclist (bicycle) and am considering a cycle using T-bol and/or oral Parabolin.

I am 59 and I train 20plus hours a week on the bike and weight train 4 times per week.

My main objectives are recovery and increased strength, not bulking up. I'm older and I don't recover as quickly anymore. Power to weight ratio is important, every extra pound has to come with increased strength.

I am training for an 1800 mile ride this summer and a cross country (4200) mile ride next summer. Most days during the ride I will be on the bike for 10+ hours per day.

Looking at T-bol and Parabolan because of their strengths of not being too hard on the body, made for athletes, add lean muscle, and increased endurance.

I did do a T-bol cycle many years ago, had to cut back on the dosage due to getting pumps.

This is my planed 6 week cycle:
    week 1-6 15 mg of T-bol daily
week 2-5 50mg of oral Parabolan daily

Also cool with doing either one alone.

Thanks in advance for any opinions, thoughts, etc.

Not hating, but I wouldn't waste my time with that.

Are you on trt? Get on it if you aren't. Zero downsides at 59. Well, unless you are naturally gifted with 800 total t and free t at top of range...

Take a look at peptides, including HGH.

Do not cycle any AAS for any length of time without including test in the mix. Yes, it can be done, but almost always by the young and dumb. It's not the best choice even for them.

FWIW, if t-bol was giving you issues with pumps during your first cycle, you don't need it. Maybe someone slipped you d'bol, I have no way of knowing.

Oral tren at that dosage probably isn't methylated, so you're likely just going to piss off your liver and screw up your system. If it were methyl tren the dosage should've much lower.

Honestly for a 6 week cycle, I'd probably drop the whole idea.

Seriously, good luck on your biking events! I'm just a year behind you in age, so I know what you mean about recovery.

Honestly, for your purposes, I would consider putting your $$ towards one of the services that analyzes and helps you optimize your body chemistry ( both hormonal and otherwise). You've got some challenges ahead.

Not an expert, there are others on here who are much more knowledgeable, but here is my 2 cents.

    Halotestin
Halotestin, Halo or Cheque drops as they are most commonly known, is probably most famous for being blamed for the infamous moment Mike Tyson took a chunk out of Evander Holyfield’s ear.

Now, we all know Mike was an aggressive forward-moving fighter. If he was using cheque drops at the time, though. It would make sense as to why he did what he did.

Halotestin is an interesting oral steroid. It isn’t actually used very much by competitive bodybuilders, maybe a few when it comes to the last few days before a competition. It is more likely to be found in combat sports or sports where gaining weight can cause issues.

On paper, Halotestin has some of the highest androgenic and anabolic ratings of any steroid. You would assume by taking them you would make unimaginable gains in size and strength in an extremely short period of time.

Cheque drops work a little differently in real life. They are primarily an androgenic steroid and the effects are more androgen based, even though the anabolic rating is over double the androgenic rating the anabolic effects are more moderate.

Halotestin is amazing for increased aggression before a fight or powerlifting competition, they are also great for increasing strength, muscle density and providing a real hard, blocky look to the muscle for people with low body fat. They aren’t actually that great at building muscle.

Taking a c17 alpha alkylated tablet does have its downsides. Side effects can be more widespread and common when taken without precaution or run for longer and high dose cycles.

I know that you mentioned that side effects and personal health were concerns of yours, but I don't see any AAS that is completely free here.

Like one of the other knowledgeable members stated, TRT is de rigueur, for guys of our age (57 yo here).

    Good luck

people will give me shit for this but Equipoise would be a good fit for you. You want increased RBC for endurance and thats one of the few good things EQ does well TRT plus 200mg EQ a week for 12 or more weeks and through the event your training for.

That's actually the best choice if he has enough time. Leave T @ normal TRT dosage. Long run of EQ.
