Sleep
I see lots of posts about people sleeping poorly or restlessly on androgens, anybody else sleep better?
When I take test and/or dbol I'm absolutely out like a light. Best sleep ever!
Interested to know why some persons would sleep better and others worse, maybe there is no explanation? IDK

Maybe taking cycle doses of gear can have the affect of causing you to work out harder, which might make you expend more energy which could cause you to sleep better. Just speculating. Lol

Could be. Also read on TRT forums where people begin T therapy, many talking about sleeping badly. Maybe just psychological factor rather than the drug? Or maybe readjustment

This is going to make no sense whatsoever, but I share it because it is what it is.
If I take a test injection in the evening, it seems to sometimes, maybe more often than not, mess with my sleep.
I know it shouldn't, and some are going to say it's in your head, but it is what it is...

I never had a problem sleeping until I got hurt too many concussions and that is one of the side effects they say.

I started TRT about three months ago and ever since I haven't had good sleep. I am kinda taking little bit more than 300mg a week.

Why is the person taking the AAS? Does the reason(s) have a mental component that contributes to sleeping issues?
Are different compounds directly related to activating more sympathetic vs parasympathetic involuntary nervous system activation?
Never had a problem myself. Even low doses of tren only bugged me at night due to increased sweating. Too much fluid intake while training might increase urinary frequency during the nighttime perhaps? I know that disturbs my sleep.

I think that androgens do put us in a more alert state of mind. My sleep went to shit also when starting trt. After a while I thought it must be because I’m getting older. But when I had to get off for fertility reasons, I started sleeping well again.

Nothing like some tren to put a pep in your step
Just test, I can’t really say - I never had a big prob sleeping while on just test before my stroke
When I was trenned out - 5-6 hours was my max
Now tho, just on a tiny bit of test I can’t sleep at all without meds

it depends on what im running. test, deca , dbol and anadrol do not interfere with my sleep. if i take anavar within a few hours of when i try to sleep its much more difficult because that has a strong stimulant effect.
it should be noted that there are other factors at play here beyond what types of AAS youre on as well

Test itself never made my sleeping problems any better or worse regardless of dose. But tren really made it hard to sleep without strong sleeping aids. It's not that it'd give me a stimulant effect, it's that I had trouble drifting off (unless I was driving a car).
