    Dumb question....

    What does it mean to aspirate , im most likely doing it. Just didnt know the name for it.

    After you stick your needle in as far as it is suspose to go-you have to pull the plunger back just enough to get a little air bubble in the syringe. If you get blood then you hit a vein and you have to pull back and start over.

    To draw back on the plunger of your pin when injecting to see if you've hit a vain
