Bad Idea
Bad Idea
well the bad idea is not just the pain that comes with a dull needle, but chance of infections and sanitation are enough for me. why would you reuse anyway...it's only 20cents a needle!?Originally Posted by BigBow
I agree with you guys. Steve, is that 20 cents Canadian?? HAHA Sorry that was a bad joke.
Its good to see this up here again. Newbies should think twice before reusing pins. They are dirt cheap, so there is no excuse.
Definatly not worth the pain and more important infection
yes..20 cents CDN...lolOriginally Posted by Ammar
Reusing needles is completly retarded. If you wanna increase your chances of dying go right ahead. Great post Big Bow....This should help alot of people with there reasoning
I don't even want to use the same needle I use to draw with.
Yeah, I remember when fkit first posted this pic, it scared the hell out of me, and Ive never even reused needles before.
Good pics, and anyhow needles are so damm cheap it's not worth the pain or infection.
You shouldn't be doing that to begin with.Originally Posted by Tuggy

One needle to draw, another to inject. That's the only way anyone should even consider using.
Nice post for the newbies
Hopefully they saw it in the Educational Forum when they were reading in there before coming here to post questions...hell, who am I kidding, they don't read that! Who would think that there would be any worthwhile info in there?!Originally Posted by Da Bull

lol, that picture has been recycled many times.
im not even joking - I know of a guy who has used the same needle for over 16 shots. When he told me this "my dad found my siringe and took it away" I said WHAT? You use the same one? and he replied yeah I ahve used it for all my shots.
I couldnt believe it. I told him they are .30 each its not worth risking infection, and its dangerous.
some people are really dumb

Very nice pics, even if they are recycled.
My favorite reply... (G Child...thread 58345)Looks nice... I have some of those in my tackle box.DAMN!
I've had an abcess before, not cool. Especially since pinz are $20 for 100...
I've had serveral abcesses, and treated them myself. It's not fun at all draining 15 cc's of fluid out of your shoulder with an 18 guage pin and flushing it with BA. Why anyone would reuse a pin is beyond me.
You've got me...Mine had to be cut open, I have a quarter sized scare from where they had to dig it out...Originally Posted by bdtr
I would have been a lot better off going to the doctors, but honestly i HATE doctor visits and explaining to them why i thought 3 cc's of t400 is a good idea in my shoulder. It refilled about 4 times, had to keep draining it over and over.
how exactly did you "drain" it ??? did you inject into the area and pull it out into the syringe ??
Yup, with an 18 guage pin. I had originally planned on using a scalpel but my wife probably would have left me if she saw me slicing my shoulder open. I probably would have recovered a lot quicker if i had some injectable anti biotics on hand. Oh well.
Yeah, I took the pic from the post by PTbyJason in the educational thread. I figured it was the easiest way to end the debate about used needles in the thread you are refering to. I'm sure I'm not the first person to post the pic, so I know I won't be the last. I did think it was funny, though, seeing that I just posted it about a week ago! lolOriginally Posted by KeyMastur

that needle **** is scary man, i cant beleive that. i use diffrent needles for each injection because i dont wanna mix water base, with oil base bc i herd it can creat air pockets
