a site injection question

I am planning on injecting 50mg/ml winny rather than taking it oral to try to incase the size of my calfs slightly. I am also going to injected in the guad and delts to reduce scar tissue. I have looked at and read Xbikers post on calf injection.

This post shows a medial head calf injection. This is how is will go about doing it. However can you also inject into the outer head of the gastroc. If so where? and do I use the same 1" 23 guage pin as i would on the medial head.
