    a question for u brits

    HI

    I was wondering if anyone from the UK knows whether or not Gynocomastia is covered under the NHS???

    ye it is- i went to the docs about 9 weeks ago- he said he would get me referred to a consultant for the op although as its on the NHS could take a while. That was nine weeks ago and have not heard a peep, phoned my doc a few times he said he had referred me just a matter of waiting.
    Did also look at getting it done privately although it would work out at something like 5 grand. for a student no way can i afford that.
    pm me if you want more info about it and how i went about the doc etc
