I have heard anywhere from 35 - 60 grams of protein. I usually go for around 40g's every time I eat or have a shake.

this subject has been discussed a bunch but I believe 40 to 50 was what everyone decided was all your body could process at once. So depending on your stats I would probably do no more than 40. The diet forum would probanly be a better place to post this.
