-----> Old threads that you find....
Obviously use your discretion but c'mon, I've just read like 10 old posts from 2001! If you wanna comment then start a decent thread but if it's to say stuff like "good job", "wow that's a lot of gear", "why was the old board yellow"....just keep it to yourself and find another way to up your post count.
This isn't for everybody just a couple members.

I have just spoke with someone not too long ago today and have been able to give some advice to. So far so good but I know there are more then a few out there that still do this.

I think a lot of it comes from people searching and not realizing the age of the thread. They simply respond without looking at the date. I made that mistake once when I was new, but I soon figured out I needed to take a look at the date.
It is annoying to see a three year old thread come back to the top over a silly response like you mentioned.

I made a thread on this a while back! I agree 100% this is done so often than not and it is so irritating. Is there some how that a mod can lock the educational thread or lock threads that are over six months old. This is an issue that makes the board less desirable to come to, Ive stopped coming around for a while because it was like AR was going downhill. I wish there was some way to take care of this or someway the mods can control this!
