    cloudy fina...NEED HELP!!!

    I have already converted fina the propper way but...my fina is still cloudy. One of my filters went out on me so i washed it out with water and probably got some of that in there, but that is all. I don't understand. Everytime I filter it it doesn't change. Any suggestions?

    this should ne posted in the Labortaory....but, try re-filtering it, mine was cloudy I re-filterd it and its crystal clear now....good luck...

    Water + oil don't mix... you should've purged it with more oil or air.

    Get a new filter and re-filter it completely.

    My fina turned really cloudy and was a amber/copper colour. nasty.

    I refiltered and added more benzyl benzoate... it turned out golden and clear.

    On top of moving to the lab...you could just search for the answer. Type in "cloudy fina." I have seen this same thing asked 84 times. Good luck with your home brew!

    refilter

    simply refilter with a new whatman! but cloudy fina is ok its just cosmetic!

    That's why I added the "good luck," I realized I was coming off a little harsh, buit the good luck was sincere. Also, searching would give many, many results about the means by which one can rectify the cloudy fina debacle.

    (Now I'm feeling a little goofy...took a personality type test and an IQ test...all while loaded on vicadin. My brain is cooked!)
