One quick question, on a 1ml slin pin, it increments from .01 to 1.0.
Is .01 = to 1 iu?![]()

Conversions:
1 ml = 1 cc -/+
100 units per 1 cc
6 mg = 18iu
1 ml = 18iu
.50 ml = 9iu
.25 ml = 4.5iu
Some people choose to only do it in cc’s but here is how you can do it in units on a slin dart
5.5 = 1iu, so 2iu = 11 on a slin dart
I don't understand how to figure 1 iu on a ml pin.
why would you need to do this? you can buy 100 slin pins from any pharm without prescription for like 15 bucks.Originally Posted by Ginkgo
a waste of a normal dart if you only want to put 1iu in it...
You need to specify IU's of what. The mg to IU conversion is dependent upon the substance. The IU/mL is dependent upon how one has reconstituted said substance.
If you're just talking about slin, it's sold in a standardized concentration that can be measured in "units" on the slin pin without having to know anything.
"dependand on substance"
word.
10 iu vial of jintropin mixing with 1 cc/ml of water.
On a 1ml slin dart is .01 the same as 1 iu? Since 1 ml = 100 units?

yes on the 1/100th.
i would only use a slin pin since you are injecting the GH subcutaneously.
Your slin pins are labelled 0.01-1, right? That means there are 100 tics on the pin. it's a 1cc(mL) pin. That means that every tic is 1/100th of the total volume, or 10microliters. If you resuspend 10IU of GH in 1mL(cc), you'll have a 10IU/mL solution..this is the same as 0.01IU/microliter. So, every tic (which we established equals 10 microliters) is equal to 0.1IU of GH....10 tics= 1IU.Originally Posted by Ginkgo
That's IF you're going to resuspend in 1mL as you mentioned.
How many i.u's (in total mixed) of Jin will you be using?
Thanks everyone for clearing that up for me.
Total mized will be 100 iu 10vials x 10 iu.
One of the reasons I'm using it is to repair a sprained ac joint. I was told 1 iu per day.
