Ordering Question

The only source I had for a long time was a website that was questionable. Some mods told me it was good, others that it was not so good. I now know that I have a very reliable source but it's not a website, it's just someones email. So my question is, how do I go about ordering from this guy? Do I just email him and ask if he has what I want, or do I just email him and tell him I'd like to do business. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I don't want to scare away my first reliable source by asking his a stupid question.

Do a source check with a mod or a vet, and then PM them with your questions.
