    iron levels very high!!

    I have been monitored by doctor on my liver enzymes due to them being very high. Anyway now he has found my iron levls to be high as well. Does anyone know about iron levels and absorption? thanks.

    Do you eat a lot of red meat? It could be from that.

    What's "very high"? Did he also check hemoglobin? AAS in general increase red blood cell counts. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, which contains iron (heme). As RBCs are broken down, iron is released.
    Diet can also play a role as was mentioned.

    if you taking in alot of protein on daily basis its most likely your iron levels will keep out of wack till you return to a 'normal' diet

    Good thinking Einstien. Thats true with anabolics the red blood cell count does go up thus increseing iron counts.
