There's actually a few good gym's in Ft. Lauderdale. My grandparents live down there. Good luck getting a spotter though.

I was just down in South Beach for 5 days then went to visit a couple buddys in Ft. Lauderdale for 4 days... My freinds either go to the L.A. Fitness which I believe is on A1A or the Golds which I also believe it is farther down on A1A. Both are good, L.A. Fitness is a little newer...
