if you are using nolva take 40mg/d at the onset and continue until it subsides then continue at 20mg/d for the rest of your cycle.
if you are using arimidex you should be running .25-1mg per day throughout.

how bout off cycle dose for novaldex? what do u reccomend?

post cycle I don't use nolvadex at all b/c clomid does enough to prevent gyno.
If I run arimidex (which I do now every cycle) I continue it until clomid therapy is complete.
