I think I hit a vein or something!

Hey, I hope yall don't think I'm a total dumbass... but I woke up late this morning and I was really tired and I injected into my bicep. I think I forgot to aspirate... I can't even remember. ANYWAY, my arm keeps hurting like crazy when I move it. It feels like someone's pinching a nerve or something in my arm. Am I okay? Should I just keep masaging it? Thanks.

Just keep rubbing it out and maybe use some heat on the area......... You may have injected through or in a nerve. Next time just be more careful and remember to aspirate.

yeah... I'm always really careful but I was just half asleep. After this I'll be so freakin careful though. Thanks, I'll put a hot pack on it and keep rubbing it.

if you hit a vein youll know almost immediatly. You arm wont hurt, but youll feel like your dying. I agree with TheMudMan, you probably went through or in a nerve. Painful, but it happens. Massage, heat, and always aspirate!
